Jey Uso has been among the most loved names in WWE ever since he started performing as Main Event Jey. However, the legendary Tag Team Champion has now walked out of Triple H’s company, and his fans are concerned about his future.
What the future holds for Jey remains to be seen, but his past has mostly been associated with The Bloodline. While there’s no doubt that he’s one of the most gifted performers in the entire faction, the fan-favorite Uso has an awful track record in controlling his emotions.
Jey has been caught laughing during serious moments on TV a number of times in his career. But the most talked-about incident is when he struggled to keep a straight face when Roman Reigns was delivering an intense promo. So, let’s check out when this moment took place and what The Tribal Chief was talking about in that promo.

Main Event Jey was caught breaking his character when Roman was delivering an intense promo on September 27, 2020, at WWE Clash of Champions. This moment took place during the Universal Championship match between the two brothers, as Reigns was telling Jey to acknowledge him as The Tribal Chief.
As the champion was trying to build intensity with his words, the fan-favorite Uso’s moments of laughter made it all look hilarious. However, their match was a storyline masterclass, and Roman Reigns ended up successfully defending his title at the event which was held at Amway Centre in Orlando, Florida.
Every time Jey Uso has broken characters and WWE fans adore him for it
While Jey breaking character at Clash of Champions is arguably the most talked-about incident of him being unable to control himself, it is just one of the many times he has been in such situations. The babyface Uso has mostly been involved in such situations when his teammates at The Bloodline did something funny.
Breaking character during backstage interviews with Jimmy Uso, during storyline progression segments with his opponents, or even during matches, Main Event Jey has literally done it all. But, in recent memory, the credit for making Jey struggle to keep a straight face on WWE television goes to his former teammate in the heel faction, Sami Zayn.

Through their long-running program as a part of Roman’s faction, both stars were involved in numerous segments together. And it was Sami’s hilarious way of expressing himself and talking that took a toll on Jey’s concentration and made him laugh on a number of occasions.
Even though Jey and Sami are no longer a part of The Bloodline and have been on separate paths for a long time now, fan-favorite Uso’s habit of breaking character hasn’t gotten any better. Most recently, Jey broke character moments before getting attacked by Reigns on SmackDown‘s July 28 episode.
Even though Triple H’s company may not be happy with Main Event Jey for such moments, the fans adore him for being real and showing his laughter on some occasions. Maybe this character aspect is one of the many reasons he is one of the most beloved performers currently. While recent rumors have claimed that he can soon join All Elite Wrestling, his fans at WWE are expecting him to return soon to take down his brother Jimmy Uso.
