The Bloodline Storyline has probably been the most interesting thing about WWE programming for a long time, as fans have loved the twists and turns it has provided. But, this entire plot took an unexpected turn on the August 11 episode of SmackDown as Jey Uso walked out of the Triple-H-led promotion.
While the announcement of Jey’s WWE exit was quite surprising for the fans, now they are convinced that Main Event Jey is tired of Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. As soon as the fan-favorite Uso revealed that he was leaving the Stamford-based promotion, different speculations started circulating, and one of them was that he could join Tony Khan’s company, AEW.
Predicting that Jey Uso could be joining WWE’s biggest rival from the pro wrestling industry, a fan wrote, “Main Event Jey Uso Joins AEW“. “Jey Uso is ALL ELITE,” a member of the WWE universe claimed about the fan-favorite Uso’s future. (Via- X)
Looking at how fans have been talking about a potential move to the Jacksonville-based promotion by Jey Uso, it seems that they feel that he has actually left. One major reason behind this can be the fact that Jey was moved to the alumni section on WWE’s official website. It remains to be seen if it’s really true or if this is just a way to make fans believe that Main Event Jey is no longer with the Stamford-based promotion.
Jimmy Uso explains why he turned on his brother Jey Uso
Jey Uso announcing that he’s out of WWE was the most talked-about topic about SmackDown’s August 11 episode, but there were a lot of interesting things that took place before it. Jimmy Uso’s explanation about attacking his brother at SummerSlam was one such thing.
It happened during the main event segment when Jey interrupted Jimmy Uso and The Bloodline to demand answers about why Jimmy turned on him. Giving an explanation of his actions during the Tribal Combat match, Jimmy claimed that he did it out of love for his brother. He revealed that he didn’t want his brother to become another Roman Reigns, as the ‘Tribal Chief’ title could corrupt him.

His explanation was something that didn’t sit well with Jey Uso or the WWE universe. Due to this, the fan-favorite Uso refused the amendment offered to him by his twin brother, Jimmy. In the final moments of the segment, Jey took out the entire Bloodline and also hit a superkick on his brother.
After taking out his frustration on Jimmy, Main Event Jey turned his attention towards the camera and announced that he was leaving The Bloodline, SmackDown, and the WWE. It’ll be interesting to see how this storyline is handled by Triple H’s company in the upcoming weeks. If taken care of properly, this plot can probably take the promotion to new heights of popularity.
