Conor McGregor is one of the most popular fighters to have ever existed. The former UFC champion often remains in the news in spite of the fact that he has not been inside the Octagon since July 2021.
The Irishman is currently a coach at TUF 31 against another UFC lightweight Michael Chandler. His team finally secured a win when his fighter Rico DiSciullio got the better of Hunter Azure by a TKO.
DiSciullio dominated the beginning of the fight when he landed a solid elbow and cut open the side of Azure’s head. However, Azure managed to land some hits even after blood was all over his head. Conor literally pleaded with his fighter to avoid the takedown when Hunter Azure was in a good position.
In the second round, DiSciullio landed a big right hand which was the turning point of the fight as Hunter fell on the canvas and a strong hammer fist was enough for the referee to declare TKO.

Conor McGregor gives his opinion on Francis Ngannou vs Tyson Fury
Conor McGregor was part of one of the biggest boxing matches ever, PPV-wise when he fought Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2017. He knows the game and for sure he knows the money.
McGregor gave his opinion on the boxing match between former UFC champion Francis Ngannou and boxing heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. He believes that anything can happen between the giants and he cannot predict the winner.
Given that there will be 10 rounds of 3 minutes each in the match, fans are not too hopeful about Ngannou. However, Conor doesn’t second that. He rather questioned Fury’s shape and size for the big-money event that is going to happen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Oct. 28.
“I’m interested, let’s see how it goes. I’ve not heard much about it but I’m happy for Ngannou, fair play to him. What weight is Tyson? Is he in shape? Anything can happen in there, so I wish them both well and I’m excited to see it,”- said the former UFC champion to Adam Glynn.
Conor further wished the best for Ngannou for the fight and said that he was happy for him as he deserved that. The lightweight also thought that Ngannou should have resolved things with the UFC.
For those who don’t know, Francis Ngannou left UFC earlier this year and vacated the heavyweight title. He is currently signed with the PFL promotion.
