However, he is not the first celebrity soccer player’s son to join the ranks of Inter Miami. Harvey, still under contract with the club, is currently on loan at USL Championship team Loudoun United, despite his father Phil Neville’s previous role as the head coach. Owner David Beckham’s son Romeo previously held a spot on the team’s roster before departing for Brentford B in January.
The emotional message conveyed by Thiago Messi to his father, Lionel Messi, ahead of the World Cup final
Messi’s son, Thiago Messi, wrote a heartfelt letter to his father that touched everyone in the football world just hours before the recently concluded FIFA World Cup final in Qatar.
The handwritten note, which Messi’s wife Antonella Roccuzzo shared, said a lot about the relationship between a father and his young son as well as the intense pressure that surrounded a significant moment in sports history.

Thiago’s note displayed a moving choice of words in the image that went viral on social media. The young boy had appropriated the song’s lyrics, “muchachos, ahora nos volvimos an ilusionar” (roughly, “guys, now we’ve got our hopes up again”). The song had won over Argentines and turned into an anthem of support for the national team.
The gesture was a testament to the emotional investment not only of Lionel Messi’s family but also of an entire nation that had yearned to witness their soccer icon lift the coveted World Cup trophy. And of course, they didn’t disappoint.
