USMNT and AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic took a cheeky dig at the stars of Hollywood and asked them to show up for Team USA’s games in the same manner as they were seen attending Inter Miami vs. LAFC. Ever since Messi moved to the Western part of the world, the attendance of American celebrities has been abundant. Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, and Lebron James have all been seen in the stands enjoying the matches.
The former Chelsea star reposted an MLS video showing several famous faces in the crowd. The post was captioned, ‘The stars shone brightly for MLS matchday.’ The winger covered it with his own caption, which read, ‘Let them know they’re invited to US national team games too.’
Several of the celebrities who attended the MLS match in question mentioned that they are regular attendees of LAFC games. However, the USMNT has not been documented to have a similar turnout for games.
Pulisic basically confirmed these celebrities are all invited for the games lmaooo Messi's PR is something else 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/7Mt3YtU415

USA is set to face Germany in East Hartford, Connecticut before traveling to Nashville to take on Ghana during the next international window and the games will at least feature opponents that will draw larger crowds. But there is a huge possibility that Pulisic‘s invitation will not be entertained by some of Hollywood’s finest until the upcoming Copa America and World Cup competitions that are set to take place in America.
Cristian Pulisic once called out USA fans after being disappointed with their presence in the match
Former Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea star Cristian Pylisic called out the USMNT fans for their support. The player was reportedly disappointed with the number of fans that attended the match.
It was during the USMNT’s match against the African nation of Morocco back in June 2022. Pulisic and Co. won the game 3-0, but the player’s statement in the post-match interview created the headline.
The match was played in Cincinnati at the TQL stadium, which had a capacity of 26,000 fans. But to the USMNT’s surprise, only 19,512 people attended the match. Also, the stands were filled with the away team supporters. However, by the end of the match fans were heard singing for the home side.

After the match when asked about his reaction to playing in front of the US fans, Pulisic said he wasn’t happy with support. The player said, “To be honest, for whatever reason, I’m not super happy with the amount of Americans here, however, that works out if I’m being completely honest. But thanks to the on who did come, the support is always great from them. It’s nice to be back in America and playing again.”
The USMNT then went on to participate in the Qatar World Cup in November of the same year. Although their campaign didn’t end up quite well, they qualified for the Round of 16 from the 32-team group stage; they stood second in Group B after England. But they couldn’t qualify for the next stages of the tournament as they were eliminated by the Netherlands in a 3-1 defeat.
The nation is set to host two high-profile tournaments, the Copa America and the World Cup. The players would hope for immense support from the fans. But will they finally receive it? Only time can tell.
