SUMMARY
- Roman Reigns is absent from WWE after losing to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.
- Let's take a look at how 'The Bloodline' storyline may play out in Roman's absence.
Roman Reigns was undoubtedly one of the most dominant champions of all time. His overall persona and mic skills were enough to fill arenas and sell tickets each week. His admirers grew each week as the Tribal Chief gave numerous moments to the WWE Universe leaving them speechless and shocked in excitement. However, his matches were always the talk of the town due to several interferences.
As many fans talked about his overall character, many argued about the constant interferences that occurred in his matches. For someone like the Tribal Chief, people believed he didn’t need any help from his teammates. However, the interferences were building up a whole new story as Roman’s Bloodline is the hottest topic in the WWE currently.
Roman’s ultimate stop to his monstrous reign came at WrestleMania XL when Cody Rhodes finally completed his story and won the Undisputed WWE Championship. This acts as a turning point for the Bloodline story which has been in full effect since 2020. Starting with Jey Uso becoming ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso to Solo Sikoa being the boss of the Bloodline, the Bloodline tale has had various arcs over the years.
With Jey getting out of the group in 2023, it has left a void in the faction that might never be filled. The Bloodline got sparked again with the arrival of ‘The Final Boss’, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. No one saw it coming as Rock did one of the best works of his entire WWE career and gave fans an outstanding heel run which was praised by everyone.
The Final Boss ignited a lot of spark plugs upon his arrival giving fans numerous hints regarding his showdown with Roman. The Rock returned to the company to challenge Roman for the World Title but was stopped by the outrage of the ‘We Want Cody’ trend. Things took a turn and Rock made them even more entertaining by aligning himself with Roman and engage a war against the American Nightmare.
After a successful and entertaining WrestleMania XL, Rock promised that he would be coming for Cody’s world title in the future. This embarked another chapter in the story of Bloodline as The Final Boss will try to do what his cousin Roman couldn’t do at WrestleMania, beat Cody Rhodes. In the process, Solo Sikoa took the faction into his hands building his empire without the interference of The Tribal Chief.
The Final Boss can do whatever he wants to be in Power
The only reason The Final Boss returned to the WWE was to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Even though Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble and was entitled to fight Roman Reigns, The Rock took Rhodes’ place in what he considered to be the biggest attraction.
The WWE Universe was not pleased with The Rock’s ownership stake in TKO, which is known to have a relationship with the company. The Rock became a heel as a result, and he joined Bloodline because he detested Cody Rhodes. The Final Boss is now on a hiatus from the company but promised Cody that he will be back for the WWE Title in the future.
With one dream match between Cody and Rock locked, another one is shaping up for the future as Solo Sikoa is forming his own Bloodline after the departure of Roman from the company. With members like Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa joining the frame, Solo continues to expand the faction with newer members. He also decimated and kicked out Jimmy Uso from the faction in the process.
As told by Paul Heyman, he hasn’t talked with Roman since WrestleMania which indicates that the things happening in Bloodline are not assigned by Reigns. This leaves the WWE Universe with several theories regarding who is in control of the Bloodline. As things look, The Final Boss might be behind these debuts and wants a new Bloodline to be formed until his return.

With a lot of power under his name, Rock might use it to form this new Bloodline and battle Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. This will solidify him as the Final Boss and lay out an even more dominant Bloodline faction.
Roman Reigns’ WWE return will set the tone for a dream match
He appears to be ready for a new chapter in his career and is keen to start over in light of his recent setback. His followers are eager to see where his career will head as he ends this chapter in his professional wrestling career. As Roman was spotted shooting for an upcoming film, fans are hijacking arenas each week with the chants of ‘We want Roman’.

As a lot of fans are already getting bored of Cody as the world champion, they are demanding the Tribal Chief to make his return and make things even for the Bloodline. As Solo destroyed Heyman’s phone during an episode of SmackDown, there have been no communications between the wise man and the Tribal Chief. It is visibly clear that Paul disapproves of every step Solo tries to take in forming the new Bloodline.
As the animosity among the Bloodline members increases, Roman’s return looks more and more exciting as WWE will be pulling a lot of shocks and twists for Roman’s return. Upon his return, he would surely take everything in his hands again and would look to teach Solo a lesson. As mentioned earlier, The Rock might be the one behind Solo’s devious plan to form a new Bloodline.
The Final Boss would look to come in between the confrontation between the returning Roman and the new Bloodline. This would also see The Usos on Roman’s side being babyfaces forming the original Bloodline. To make things even on Roman’s side, Jacob Fatu can also make his much-awaited debut to help Roman’s Bloodline overcome The Rock’s Bloodline.
The Rock vs Roman Reigns will steal all the spotlight at WrestleMania 41
Cracks between the Bloodline would surely lead to a Bloodline Civil War. With Roman’s team involving The Usos and Jacob Fatu, while Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa are on Rock’s side, the civil war would provide outstanding dramatic visuals and storytelling. This is just one theory that might take place in the future, numerous other theories might eventually lead to a Bloodline Civil War.
After The Rock’s massive success and immense power in the TKO, Roman would surely look to make things even and challenge him for a match at WrestleMania. Whether the match would involve the WWE Championship or not is anyone’s guess as The Rock can also defeat Rhodes to win the title. All these years of story and clashes would then tune up to form the biggest WrestleMania match of all time.
