After his ankle injury, the 6-foot-5 player bounced back stronger this year. Now, his exceptional performance has landed him a lucrative contract extension. As per NFL‘s reporter Ian Rapoport, Austin Jackson has signed a 3-year contract extension with the Dolphins.
It’s a $36 million deal along with $20.7 million guaranteed. The deal will offer Jackson an average yearly salary of $12 million. With this contract, the California-born athlete will stay with the team till 2026. The Dolphins are having a phenomenal time this season and have a great 9-3 record.
For now, Austin Jackson has been contributing greatly to the team’s success. It’ll be worth watching whether the NFL star can help the team reach the Super Bowl this year or not.

It’s worth noting that Austin Jackson couldn’t even reach 100 snaps last season because of his ankle injury. However, he’s exhibited mind-blowing gameplay this season.
