The NFL 2023 is here and is going on in full swing in Week 2. Football is a game that people love all around the globe. When it comes to the NFL, fans are crazy about it and wait for its seasons eagerly every year. However, a strange event happened during the first week of the league which proves that even robots love football.
The Miami Dolphins and the Los Angeles Chargers locked horns last week to begin their season. However, there was something off the field that grabbed everyone’s attention. The camera captured AI Robots sitting in the stands of the SoFi stadium in Los Angeles.
Fans, who were present at the stadium, were amazed at the rare sighting of robots enjoying an NFL game. Many people shared pictures of the AI Robots sitting among the crowd at the stadium. Reports suggest that those robots weren’t just sitting, but were also moving around before the game.
All of the AI Robots were quite realistic and looked exactly like humans. Some of them were even donning the jersey of the NFL team they were supporting that day. It made people wonder whether they were actually robots or humans acting like them. However, it later turned out that those were really AI Robots.
There’s no denying the fact that the world is growing toward new scientific inventions including Robots. Now, it seems like those AI models will soon become a part of the NFL and other games as well.
Why were the AI robots there during the NFL match?
It’s true that AI Robots were actually present in the stadium during the game between the Dolphins and Chargers. However, the incident didn’t happen out of nowhere. As per reports, it was a new way of promotion for an upcoming movie. Those machines at the SoFi stadium were to promote the movie “The Creator”.

The AI robots were not the movie’s actors or actresses dressed up as robots though. Reports suggest that those were the real characters from the movie. To promote the movie, the makers of the movie placed the robots all over the stadium. While some were on the sidelines, others sat on the seats during the NFL match. Some robots even donned a jacket which had the name of the movie on it.
It’s worth noting that this is not the first time a movie has used such unconventional ways to promote the film. Some time back, the makers of the movie “Smile” made some actors give creepy smiles at baseball stadiums. As for “The Creator” it’ll be in theaters on September 29. It’ll be worth watching whether the makers’ promotional stunt will benefit the movie or not.
