NFL star Tom Brady has recently been in the news for his love life with model Irina Shayk. However, this is not the first time he has gained the spotlight. In fact, the star player has been the center of attraction ever since his career began. The quarterback was not only great in the game, but also used to maintain a great physique. However, recently he made a new revelation about his body transformation.
The NFL legend recently mentioned on his podcast ‘Let’s Go’ that he shredded a lot of weight. The star player was reportedly around 225 pounds during his career in the league. His co-host Larry Fitzgerald said during the podcast that he looked “five or seven pounds lighter”. While answering him, Tom Brady revealed that he has lost 10 pounds since his retirement this year.
“I’m down about 10 pounds, but I’m actually very fit right now,” he said.
The Hall of Famer mentioned that he focused more on his doubts and exercises. Brady went on to explain that he doesn’t have the “stress” he used to have during his 23-year career. Tom Brady further emphasized the significance of physical and mental health.
“I haven’t had the stress that I had while I was playing so that’s allowed me to focus a little bit more on my physical health… Physical and mental health is so important to all of us,” he said.
The 6-foot-4 tall New England Patriots star went on explaining the food items he included in his diet. He also mentioned that being fit helps him focus more on his family and kids. It’s obvious that Tom Brady has been ensuring that he keeps his physique perfect even after retirement. Maybe that’s the reason why he’s handsome even after being 46.
