SUMMARY
- Reportedly, Brock Lesnar recently became entangled in a s*x trafficking case.
- According to wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, The Beast Incarnate might not appear on WWE for a while now.
Brock Lesnar is one of the most well-known names in the sports entertainment world. The American wrestler has several distinctions, including being a former WWE champion, UFC heavyweight champion, NJPW champion, and NCAA champion. For a long time, Lesnar has been the WWE’s face and one of its most feared and dominating opponents.
After being in the WWE for nearly 18 years, The Beast Incarnate has seen it all in the wrestling business. He was most recently embroiled in a rivalry with Cody Rhodes and was defeated at Summerslam 2023, his final appearance. He was expected to come back at the 2024 Royal Rumble.
Lesnar recently became entangled in a s*x trafficking case. This jeopardized the former UFC champion’s return to the Stamford-based promotion. Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, filed the complaint against Vince McMahon, WWE’s former CEO and chairman. The claims involve s*xual harassment pushed by Vince to benefit Brock Lesnar. Meanwhile, it seems like Lesnar won’t be a part of the company for a long time.
“Bron Breakker essentially fulfilled the Brock Lesnar role (in the Rumble).
He came in when Brock Lesnar was going to come in, he threw out the guys Brock Lesnar was going to throw out, he got thrown out exactly how Brock Lesnar was going to get thrown out.” – Dave Meltzer pic.twitter.com/GlkVzofKUO— WrestleWay (@wrestle_way) January 28, 2024
According to wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, The Beast Incarnate might not appear on WWE for a while now. “It appears that Brock Lesnar is not going to be around for a while,” stated Meltzer. He further added that Lesnar will surely find a way back to return. “I hate to say forever because most of the time it’s not the case, especially if somebody can draw. They always seem to find a way back,” stated Dave.
Lesnar was supposed to enter the Rumble match but was replaced by Bronn Breakker. He was sidelined due to the ongoing Vince McMahon lawsuit, which has damaged his reputation negatively.
Brock Lesnar was also supposed to have a match at Elimination Chamber
Brock Lesnar was supposed to enter the Royal Rumble match and eliminate several superstars. According to the reports, The Beast Incarnate was supposed to be eliminated by Dominik Mysterio. The duo were even scheduled to have a match at the Elimination Chamber event. With this in mind, WWE would have surely had Brock booked for a match at WrestleMania.
Since his SummerSlam 2023 bout against Cody Rhodes, The Beast has been on vacation, with plans to return around Royal Rumble 2024. It was thought that he was developing a feud with Gunther that might culminate in a match at WrestleMania 40.
Despite the rumors surrounding his prospective rivalry with The Ring General, WWE withdrew Brock Lesnar from the January 27 PLE. It has been suggested that this decision was made following Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vincent. The former Universal Champion was also implicated in the case, which caused the organization to remove him from the 2024 Royal Rumble.
Brock Lesnar’s Involvement in the Janel Grant Lawsuit
On January 25, a former WWE employee filed a lawsuit in one of the most contentious cases in pro wrestling history. Serious allegations against Vince have surfaced since the case was filed. However, the claims against Brock were alarming, since Janel labeled him as a member of her s*x trafficking.
According to the complaint, in July 2021, Vince directed Grant to develop personalized s*xual content for a WWE star in an attempt to re-sign that performance. The pro wrestler’s identity has not been revealed, although he is touted as having previously worked for the UFC. These indicators were sufficient for combat sports fans to recognize the in-ring star as Lesnar.
Furthermore, in December of that year, the pro wrestling veteran gave the performer the phone number of a former WWE employee. As per the lawsuit, the pro wrestler ordered her to transmit a video of herself urinating, and when she did, he labeled her a “b—.” She also said that Brock indicated a wish to “set a play date,” but the preparations were delayed by inclement weather.
Janel Grant, one of the women in Vince McMahon’s NDA scandal, was instructed to take sexual photos and videos for Brock Lesnar in an attempt to get him to re-sign with the WWE. Vince McMahon told her that “F*cking [Brock]” was part of the deal.

With such severe charges against a veteran like Brock, WWE must have made a correct choice in canceling the Royal Rumble plans for him. The 46-year-old has yet to comment on being named in the s*x trafficking case, but it remains to be seen if he will break his silence on the subject anytime soon or not.
