SUMMARY
- A former WWE staffer recently filed a lawsuit claiming that Vince McMahon and his associates se*ually abused her.
- Multiple employees were mentioned in Janel Grant's lawsuit, however, only by their designation.
The lawsuit involving Janel Grant, a former staffer of the WWE, and Vince McMahon, the franchise’s ex-CEO turned several heads. This lawsuit comes nearly two years after the 78-year-old stepped down from his position. Vince made the big to leave his position announcement amidst a s*x scandal investigation. Despite stepping down from his role, the legendary face of the franchise has remained active behind the scenes.
Recently, TKO Group Holdings signed a 10-year deal with Netflix and Grant filed a lawsuit against McMahon and former head of talent relations, John Laurinaitis, two days later. The lawsuit alleges that both individuals are being sued for intentional infliction of emotional distress. The ‘Trafficking Victims Prevention Act’ claims these violations are based on years of se*ual and emotional distress.

In the lawsuit, Janel Grant stated that Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis would frequently coerce her into getting physical with them at various locations including personal offices. McMahon also allegedly asked her to get se*ually involved with his associates and several other WWE employees. In the documents, Grant stated that Vince shared explicit videos and photographs of her “to men inside and outside the company.”
These men also included members of the television production team, executives, and producers. One of the receivers was described as a “world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion” which blatantly screams Brock Lesnar. Twelve other individuals were mentioned indirectly via their designation in the company.
Janel Grant gave in to Vince McMahon’s advances to keep her job
There was once an instance that was mentioned in the court documents that described a time Janel Grant went out of her way to comply with Vince McMahon’s advances. During this instance, Vince demanded that he wanted Grant to be with him in his bedroom. However, she immediately put off his advances and told him he was putting her in a bad position.

Even though Grant tried to reason herself out of the situation, Vince allegedly begged her to be beside him. Out of fear of losing her job, Grant lay beside Vince on his bed against her wishes. She also told Vince that he was only allowed to hold her and nothing more. However, Grant who was getting paid $75,000 per year for the job, allegedly endured some despicable acts like McMahon allegedly defecating on her.
Vince McMahon once asked Janel Grant to help him dress up
Vince McMahon and Janel Grant lived in the same apartment complex as each other. This also meant that she made frequent visits to tend to McMahon and his requests. However, during one visit she made in April 2019, McMahon asked her to enter his walk-in closet.
As she walked into the closet she was caught off guard by McMahon standing in front of her with only his briefs on. He handed over a shirt and asked her to help him button it up. McMahon reminded her that he appreciated her taking care of him while hinting that he was trying to get her a role in the organization.

These were only a few of many instances in which Janel Grant claimed McMahon had taken advantage of her. She claimed that he would also exploit her at the workspace and this happened multiple times. He forced her into complying with his devious ways while falsely promising her of role multiple times.
Grant claimed he also offered her hush money. While he promised to pay her $3 million, he only paid her a small portion of it, failing to give her the rest. Neither McMahon nor Laurinaitis or the companies involved with the WWE have commented on the lawsuit.
