SUMMARY
- WWE has started the road to WrestleMania 40 in fashion with a spectacular Royal Rumble 2024.
- This year's Men's Royal Rumble had a lot of memorable moments, but fans missed the presence of Brock Lesnar.
Whether you agree with it or not, WWE arguably has the biggest talent pool in the pro wrestling industry. The company showcased this during the Royal Rumble 2024 with appearances from veterans to emerging talents. All the performers who appeared on the PLE made a statement, but fans still missed a certain star, and it was Brock Lesnar.
The Beast didn’t make an appearance in the Men’s Royal Rumble, and it left the WWE universe shocked. But recent reports have revealed some surprising plans for Brock before Triple H abandoned them due to Janel Grant’s recent lawsuit.
According to Dave Meltzer on WOR, Bron Breakker fulfilled the Brock Lesnar role in the Rumble.
This included Lesnar’s elimination.

According to Dave Meltzer, Lesnar was supposed to enter the match in place of Bron Breakker. The former NXT Champion entered the 2024 Royal Rumble as the number 20 entrant, and it has been claimed that it was the position Brock was going to be on.
In addition to this, reports have stated that not just the entry, but the 46-year-old was going to be eliminated the same way as Bron. The yellow brand performer was taken out by Dominik Mysterio, but it was probably Brock, who was going to be the victim of Dirty Dom.
WWE pulled Brock Lesnar from Royal Rumble 2024
Ever since The Beast went on a hiatus after his SummerSlam 2023 match against Cody Rhodes, it had been stated that he’ll return around Royal Rumble 2024. In fact, it was speculated that he might be getting engaged in a rivalry with Gunther, which might lead to a match at WrestleMania 40.

Despite all the rumors about his potential feud with The Ring General, WWE pulled Brock Lesnar from the January 27 PLE. It has been speculated that this decision was taken after Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vincent. As the former Universal Champion was also named in the lawsuit, it forced the company to pull him out from the 2024 Royal Rumble.
What are Jalen Grant’s allegations against Lesnar?
In one of the biggest controversies in the history of pro wrestling, a former WWE employee filed a lawsuit on January 25. As the case has been filed against Vince, serious claims have been made about him. But the allegations against Brock were also disturbing, as Janel named him to be a part of her s*x trafficking.
As per the lawsuit, in July 2021, Vince instructed Grant to create personalized sexual content for a WWE star in an attempt to re-sign that performer. Even though the pro wrestler’s name hasn’t been specified, it is described as someone who has been with the UFC.
These hints were enough for the combat sports enthusiast’s to identify the in-ring star as Lesnar. As per the suit, Kennedy shared Grant’s explicit photos with the star and later informed her that “he likes what he sees.” This eventually led to that star’s signing, and Mr. McMahon informed this by texting Janel in August.
Janel Grant, one of the women in Vince McMahon’s NDA scandal, was instructed to take sexual photos and videos for Brock Lesnar in an attempt to get him to re-sign with the WWE. Vince McMahon told her that “F*cking [Brock]” was part of the deal.

Moreover, in that year’s December, the pro wrestling veteran shared the former WWE employee’s number with the performer. The lawsuit also states that the pro wrestler asked her to send a video of herself urinating, and after she did, he called her a “b—.” Additionally, she also revealed that Brock expressed a desire to “set a play date,” but the plans were disrupted due to a snowstorm.
With such serious allegations against a veteran like Brock, it’s safe to say that scrapping the Royal Rumble plans for him was the right choice. The 46-year-old hasn’t yet responded to being named in the s*x trafficking lawsuit, but it remains to be seen if he breaks his silence on this matter anytime soon or not.
