LeBron James has become one of the most popular athletes in the world and it looks like his sons are set to follow suit as well. King James has two sons; Bronny and Bryce. Both of the James brothers are exceptional basketball players, and there is no doubt that they have what it takes to make it to the top of the beautiful game in the future.
One of the brothers, Bronny, has been making great steps in the last few months, in terms of his basketball career. The youngster has just finished high school with the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers. It would be safe to say that he managed to catch the eye of the world with his dunks, shots, and playmaking abilities.
As of late, Bronny’s college future has come under the spotlight. Fans have been eager to know if Bronny would stay in the US and opt to study in college or travel overseas to play in foreign leagues. The young superstar has not openly revealed his decision, but there might be a chance that he plays basketball in the USA.
Bronny James is one of the most-talked-about prospects in the country
There have been many to claim that Bronny has been a product of “nepotism,” indicating that he only attracted plenty of attention because of his father, LeBron James‘, brilliance. However, that would not be the case, considering how talented Bronny is as a player.
For those who don’t know, he’s not a typical high-scoring guard who will put up sensational numbers on the board every week. But Bronny is an all-rounder, who can both defend and score. For example, Bronny mostly defended 1s while playing with Sierra Canyon, but he occasionally put himself up against opponents on the wings as well.
If that wasn’t enough, LeBron James Jr. was always known to be a good playmaker. His vision helps him find his teammates with ease, but make no mistake, Bronny does not shy from an opportunity to drive to the basket. Initially, this worried fans, as many believed that he did not have the shooting prowess to make it in the NBA.
He featured in the 2023 McDonald’s All-American game, and put on a show as well. He put up 15 points on the night, all of which came from beyond the three-point line. That spoke at length about how good his shooting was, which could definitely be improved when he continues to play basketball in college under a demanding head coach.
