Ubisoft has announced a closed beta for its upcoming title Skull and Bones. The highly anticipated pirate-themed cooperative game will be available to selected players during the beta period. It will be an invitation-only program for participants who sign up using their Ubisoft Connect account.
Additionally, players must take note that the closed beta is available only for PC and particularly only in English. Thus console and non-English speaking players will be left out of experiencing the Skull and Bones’ Seven Seas beta.
Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones, has been eagerly looked forward to ever since its initial announcement in 2017. The game has experienced a fair share of delays since then, however, that hasn’t affected the hype among the fans.
Skull and Bones closed beta dates?
Players who wish to play the Skull and Bones closed beta won’t have to wait any longer. Skull and Bones runs from the 15th to the 18th of December 2023. Here is the complete schedule of the Skull and Bones closed beta in different regions:
- Europe: December 15, 2023 (3 AM CET) to December 18, 2023 (9 AM CET)
- United States of America: December 14, 2023 (6 PM PT) to December 18, 2023 (12 AM PT)
- Oceania and Asia: December 15, 2023 (1 PM AET) to December 18, 2023 (7 PM AET)
Notably, the Skull and Bones Beta will be freely accessible globally for invited users, except in Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Japan, and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Visit the official Ubisoft website
First, to sign up for the Skull and Bones closed beta, players must head to the official Ubisoft website. On the website, they will find a choice of platforms, such as Ubisoft Connect PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, or the Epic Games Store. Players must remember that they can sign up for the beta test only on one platform.
Register for the Beta
Once the player has selected the preferred platform, they must click on the “Register” button. Next, they must log in to the website using their Ubisoft Connect account details. Players who do not have a Ubisoft Connect account can alternatively log in with their PlayStation, Xbox, Twitch, or Facebook account as valid alternatives.
Await confirmation
Once the player has completed the registration process, they must wait for Ubisoft’s decision. The Ubisoft team will select a few lucky players for the closed beta. Chosen players will receive an email notification soon. The confirmation email will list out further instructions, such as the dates for pre-loading the game.
Invite your friends
Ubisoft is allowing beta participants to invite two friends to join them in their adventure. Players will see an “Invite my friends” button located in the confirmation email.
