Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar’s upcoming game, has everyone thrilled. Earlier this month, the first trailer for the much-anticipated sequel went viral online and has since received over 130 million views. But this is not to say Rockstar has overlooked its major money maker, Grand Theft Auto Online. Its most recent update is available for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 4/5.
The 1.68 patch for GTA Online, also referred to as the Chop Shop update, was released on December 12 and is a big update that includes 11 new cars, and over 300 clothing items. It also includes 32 new tattoos, birthday gifts, daily challenges, a completely new business, and a large new garage with 100 cars for GTA+ subscribers.
These come with a long list of general improvements, bug fixes, a new rifle, and even the ability to unlock and own police vehicles legally without the need for mods or hacks.
Animals added to GTA Online
For the Grand Theft Auto: Online update, Rockstar Games unveiled a trailer featuring Yusuf Amir of Liberty City and The Chop Shop. This 30-second clip attempts to put fans of Grand Theft Auto 5 back in control with its fast automobiles, goofy characters, and exciting new missions.
Fans shouldn’t be shocked to learn that GTA Online has received one of its largest updates in a while, which includes features beyond just quick cars and locations to stash and pilfer them. Players now have the opportunity to explore Los Santos’ roaming animals, as was previously promised.
The most recent wildlife update for GTA Online features animals walking around, ten years after the game’s debut. More than before, the GTA Online universe will seem vibrant and less empty.
The update consists of animals like mountain lions, deer, bears, coyotes, and rabbits, among others. Birds and even aquatic creatures like sharks, stingrays, whales, and dolphins are included in the update. Players must also be able to hunt these animals in this new update.

With Rockstar promising to enhance other aspects of the experience, like voice chat moderation, in the future, players can enjoy the new Battle Rifle, Drift Races, and Handling Kits, a nice selection of purchasable law-enforcement vehicles, and more while exploring the roaming animals on the console.
Unfortunately, GTA Online’s animals addition is limited to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game. This means that PC users and owners of older hardware are left out in this new update.
