Former kickboxing champion Andrew Tate was set to appear before the Romanian court on March 14. He has been behind the bars since December 29, 2022. After nearly 3 months of detention, fans were getting increasingly restless about their hero’s release from prison. However, in light of the r*pe, human trafficking, and organized crime charges, the court has already denied his appeal a number of times.

In April 2022, Tate appeared before DIICOT after two women were allegedly rescued from one of Tate’s compounds in Romania. After months of investigation, police raided Tate’s Romanian property and apprehended Andrew, his brother Tristan Tate, his alleged girlfriend Georgiana Naghel, and his associate Luana Radu. But Radu and Naghel have been subsequently moved to house arrest instead of a prison cell.

After spending more than 60 days, a new theory revealed why Tate was going to be released. Apparently, after more than 60 days in detention, if there is not enough evidence, the detention may be overturned as per Romanian Law. While it was not clear if Tate was appealing for immediate release or just house arrest. Regardless, his fans would be happy to see him out of prison. So how did the case go? Let’s find out.

Andrew Tate has been denied bail once again

Top G will have to spend the rest of his 90-day detention period behind bars as well! According to a report from Daily Mail, Tate was denied bail this time as well. Although the judge has refused to let Andrew move to home arrest, the court will hear Tristan Tate’s appeal tomorrow. The 36-year-old may remain behind bars, there is a chance that Tristan may finally be released from prison tomorrow.

However, as expected, Tate was understandably upset with the verdict. His spokesperson revealed to the outlet that the social media influencer was hoping to “reunite with his family.” This is one of the arguments behind Tate’s appeal as both Andrew and Tristan revealed that their children needed them. But it does not look like the court is having any of Tate’s or his legal team’s arguments.

Tate’s lawyer, Eugen Vidineac did not hold back on the decision and made an explosive claim. Vidineac revealed, “At first sight, the court’s decision is illegal because the inadmissibility principle concerns a question of the impossibility of the judicial act, a principle that cannot be applied in this case.”

Just before the most recent hearing, there was a lot of drama regarding Tate’s health as well. After his manager’s claims on Instagram, the rumor went viral that Andrew had lung cancer and it was perhaps terminal. Although Tate did have a lung nodule, his social media team cleared up the rumors and added that he did not have lung cancer. However, he was released from prison temporarily to get a medical check-up.

Tate’s legal team has the option to appeal against the court decision in the next 48 hours. So it is going to be a very eventful next few days for the Tate brothers.
