Andrew Tate has spent more than 60 days in Romanian detention following his arrest in December 2022. While Tate’s arrest was a shock for his fans initially, they have gotten used to receiving updates about his detention on a regular basis. The suddenness of the move initially made the fans question if Greta Thunberg was the primary reason behind Tate’s arrest or not.
Greta and Tate had a Twitter beef in the last few weeks of 2022. While Tate manage to land his insults, it was Greta who had the better lines and even Joe Rogan agreed to that. But, it later came out that Tate’s arrest was because of a long-lingering case. Both Andrew and his brother Tristan Tate were already under investigation in April 2022.

But they were finally taken into custody on December 28 and charged with organized crime, human trafficking, and r*pe. Although these are pretty serious charges, team Tate has denied all the allegations thrown against them. They maintain the position that the brothers are being held without any substantial evidence. However, it looks like their misery may end soon and they may finally see the light of day!
A new theory claims Andrew Tate will be released from prison soon
There have been quite a few stories regarding Andrew being released from prison. The most recent one revolved around him being allegedly diagnosed with lung cancer. Following the reports that Andrew developed a lung nodule, some reports even claimed that the condition may lead to terminal cancer if left untreated. It sparked a wide outrage amongst his fan base.

Fans kept demanding Tate’s release from detention and appealed for urgent treatment. Since then, Tate has denied the reports of him having lung cancer. It also led to his manager backtracking his comments on Tate’s cancer story. Some have also speculated that “Top G” manufactured the story to build buzz for his release and criticized him.
According to Romanian LAW (CJAD)

After 60 days pass, the Romanian court checks periodically the legality and justification of the preventive arrest.

If the court cannot justify the preventive arrest,

However, an Andrew Tate fan account has floated a new theory on the case, which hints at a possible release for him. As per the theory, Romanian law dictates that any detention should be reassessed if there is not enough evidence to justify it. Fans have seen Andrew’s detention being increased from 30 days to 60 days to now 90 days. But his legal team insists that DIICOT does not have enough evidence.
ALSO to CLARIFY nearly at the end of every month from January to March the DIICOT prosecutors extended the detention and the Tate Brothers legal team appealed it,

However this is now a request/motion to have the Tates under judicial supervision/house arrest.
Hence, the fan account is speculating that another appeal from Tate’s legal team may result in them being moved to house arrest similar to Georgiana Naghel and Lunana Radu. Although it is mere speculation on the fans’ behalf, if there is any legal ground to it, Tate’s legal team will surely take it into consideration if it has any benefits to their argument.
What do make of the new theory? Do you think it finally results in his release? Let us know in the comments down below.
