Nevertheless, they got separated after dating for several years.
John Cena was previously married to Elizabeth Huberdeau, commonly known as Liz Cena. The couple tied the knot on July 11, 2009. However, their marriage faced difficulties, and they filed for divorce in May 2012. The divorce was finalized on July 18, 2012. Following their divorce, The Leader of Cenation has kept his personal life relatively private. Furthermore, the process of their divorce involved so much drama.
During the court case, Liz’s lawyer also issued a statement on Cena potentially being unfaithful. “We’re definitely following up on every lead relative to his being unfaithful before AND after the separation,” the lawyer said. Moreover, former WWE Star, Kenny Dyxtra also disclosed some secrets from the past, also alleging John Cena was dating the former WWE women’s champion, Mickie James.
Dyxtra and James were engaged during their time in the WWE, so he seems to be a pretty believable source. Wrestling Inc. also reported that due to the relationship between Cena and Mickie James, Kenny Dyxtra was transferred from Raw to SmackDown before eventually getting released from the company in the same year.
Nonetheless, it is not yet confirmed whether Liz and her lawyer accused the former 16-time WWE Champion of dating James outside of their marriage, or it was some different woman. As of now, neither Cena nor James has opened up on these allegations.

Shay Shariatzadeh is a Canadian engineer and businesswoman who works in the technology industry. The couple made their public debut together at the premiere of Cena’s film “Playing with Fire” in October 2019. Since then, they have been seen together at various public events and outings.
