- John Cena discusses his patience with fans filming him in public and sets boundaries.
- Cena's past encounters highlight positive impact on fans.
John Cena has made a huge name for himself both in the world of pro wrestling and in Hollywood. However, Cena might take his retirement from the ring sooner rather than later. In the meantime, he is currently busy with the promotion of his new movie, Ricky Stanicky.
As a part of that, John Cena recently joined Chris Van Vliet for a conversation. During that Vliet asked him, “There’s this video that went viral of this guy following you around filming you and you were so patient, so kind, so polite, even though he’s invading your privacy. How were you able to develop that?”
To this, the 16-time world champion replied, “Through failure…and by no means am I perfect.” He said that he couldn’t stop someone from making a video, but when he himself becomes a part of the act without his permission, that’s a “different set of circumstances.”
Cena further added that if someone is around him and they catch a video, it’s fine. However, if someone turns the camera around and barges into his life, and he has never met that person before, that becomes difficult.
Finally, Cena said, “I hope to be better next time but no one’s in the wrong I understand everybody’s perspective and that’s a hard pill to swallow sometimes but it’s just a matter of opinion so nobody is in the wrong.” Thus, it seems that though the WWE legend had a weird encounter with a fan, he explained the situation very casually.

In another instance, Cena was interacting with the fans after an episode of Friday Night SmackDown. During this, he was approached by a little fan in a wheelchair. The 16-time world champion then signed a ‘Never Give Up’ towel for the young fan and also posed for a picture.

Thereafter, the fan turned off the camera and apologized. However, the fan later uploaded the six-second clip, which went viral. Meanwhile, it seems Cena made it clear that he doesn’t want to be disturbed when he’s enjoying some quality time with his friends and family.
