Charlotte Flair scared the fans and her well-wishers to the core after going through a nasty injury. On the December 8 edition of SmackDown, Charlotte botched a move, after which she eventually fell down in pain. Though she finished the match in a competitive spirit, the injury was very frightening for her too.
Charlotte Flair took to X and shared her experience of dealing with her recent knee injury. “I happen to be an expert in overthinking and this is the first time I’ve ever been truly scared. Scared of the unknown but also feeling like I’m losing what I’m most proud of and that’s being an athlete,” she wrote.

Flair’s injury left her exposed to her physical weakness, a thing she dreaded. She claimed that her current state was a new feeling for her that left her emotionally and mentally weak. As 2023 came to an end, it gave Charlotte a roller coaster ride.
“Maybe this was the only way to stop, refocus, rebuild & eventually conquer again,” she added. Charlotte also believed that conquering her own mountain would be one of her greatest tests, referencing her latest knee injury. With an unshakable will and strength, everyone is hopeful that The Queen will bounce back harder and stronger when she returns.

After Charlotte was injured during her match, she had to be helped backstage. Eventually, it was revealed that The Queen had a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. Thanking the fans for their consistent support amidst her tough phase, Charlotte seemed extremely grateful. She also ensured to recall all the good times that she had in the locker room. However, there was one thing that caught the eye of most of the fans. Over the past few days, there have been multiple speculations as to how long she will stay away from the ring.

Charlotte Flair broke the ice on the matter and revealed that it would probably take nine months for her to get back to the ring. “I promise I am going to work 24/7 over the next nine months to come back as the best version of the Queen you’ve ever seen,” she wrote, leaving fans with the expectation of her return after September 2024.
