Late WWE icon Bray Wyatt passed away last month, and it was one of the most disturbing news stories for the fans. Even since the 36-year-old performer died, the pro wrestling industry has been honoring his legacy through different ways.
Not just his fellow stars, but people from the Stamford-based promotion‘s biggest rival, All Elite Wrestling, have also done their part. In a similar way, an AEW star recently used Bray Wyatt’s catchphrase to pay a special tribute to the late Windham Rotunda. The star was none other than former WWE performer Keith Lee.

This memorable moment took place during a heated backstage promo on Collison’s September 9 episode, when Lee called out the entire AEW roster. As Keith claimed that it’s time for him to look by himself for his opportunities, he revealed that he’ll be going solo now.
While doing so, The Limitless One used an iconic catchphrase from Bray’s historic run with The Wyatt Family. Keith said, “You understand one thing, I am the collision. I’m it, the one. My advice to you, RUN.”
The way he changed his voice tone to say “run” at the end of his promo, it was evident that he was referring to the late WWE performer. The AEW star paying such a beautiful tribute to The Fiend has been getting great appreciation from Windham’s fans from across the world.
AEW’s tribute to WWE superstar Bray Wyatt
While Keith Lee’s individual tribute to Bray Wyatt happened on the most recent episode of Collision, AEW has been honoring Bray’s legacy ever since he died on August 24. At first, Tony Khan‘s company paid tribute to the late WWE superstar through a social media post.
After which, Wyatt was shown respect during AEW‘s All In London event. Firstly, at the pre-show of the PPV, Renee Paquette used a quote by Windham, and later, House of Black made a special entrance by carrying a lantern to make their way to the ring. As this was something Wyatt used in WWE, it was a great way to honor his legendary legacy.
Following this, it was revealed that the Jacksonville-based promotion’s CEO was giving everyone the option to miss the two Dynamite events to attend memorial services for Bray Wyatt. It was a really sweet gesture, and sharing more details about this, Matt Hardy recently revealed that Khan provided a jet for all the AEW talents that wanted to attend the funeral.

Looking at how AEW’s president did all this by putting aside all differences with the Triple H-led promotion, he surely deserves appreciation. The way Tony Khan spent millions to ensure people who wanted to attend Bray’s funeral could reach there, it’s evident he is a man with a heart of pure gold.
