Dave Bautista on wrapping up his role with the MCU
In a recent interview with Comicbook, Dave was asked about his character, Drax’s goal in the finale of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy. Dave laughingly replied that no matter what Drax’s goal is he gets his as* kicked. And no superhero has ever gotten their as* kicked so much as Drax.
“It’s our third film, we’re gonna wrap it up. It’s been a hell of a journey with a few bumps. So I’m looking forward to this man. Cast and obviously James Gunn is there like family to me. This is kind of where my journey started, it’s come full circle. And I’m looking forward to wrapping it up, but it’s a bittersweet,” Batista said about his retirement.
Every day I say a little prayer for Drax. The role that changed my life. Forever grateful to the fans and my Guardians family. What a magical journey it’s been. Thank you for letting me be your Drax. 🙏🏼 #DraxForever ❤️ pic.twitter.com/mK5u8sLTI1
