Dwayne Johnson has been at the top of the Hollywood ladder for some time now. He cemented his legacy in WWE before moving onto the silver screen and making it big in movies such as Jumanji and Black Adam. He is also slated to be rejoining the Fast and Furious franchise, as he recently quashed his beef with Vin Diesel. The Brahma Bull has also made some good friends in the industry, and one of them happens to be Jack Black, who did not shy away from mimicking the star.
During an interview during filming, Dwayne Johnson sat alongside Jack Black and Kevin Hart to discuss their upcoming movie. Addressing Black as Johnson, the interviewer from Screen Junkies asked how it felt to be Dwayne Johnson and asked Black, who was mimicking The Rock, to walk him through his workout routine. In a hilarious sequence of events, Jack Black went on to state that Johnson does 27000 curls at five in the morning and has no time for family.

“I wake up at 5 am and do 27000 rib curls. Bleed, blood, sweat, tears – that’s my approach to life. That’s how I approach everything. Life is a delicious drink that you have to suck deep. There’s no time, like the present, to enjoy your loved ones, your family, this, that, and the other. There are projects, I gotta go.”
At the end of the sequence, Dwayne Johnson burst out laughing and stated, “That was good.” Kevin Hart, who was sitting alongside the two actors, was also laughing the entire time. Johnson, who was himself one of the best promos in WWE history, is known for his comic timing and mimicry skills. It comes as no surprise that he would enjoy a good bout of laughter, even if it was at his expense.
Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black have starred together in Jumanji movies
Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black have been in two Jumanji movies together. Both men starred in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji: The Next Level. The two films were released in 2017 and 2019, respectively. The first film was set around the continuation of the 1995 Jumanji film. It also starred Kevin Hart and Nick Jonas alongside Karen Jillan.
The second film saw the introduction of Awkwafina and Danny DeVito. The two films have made sensational box office numbers and have also been directed by Jake Kasdan. Fans have since been clamoring for a third Jumanji film with the same cast. However, it remains to be seen when that will come to fruition. Both Jack Black and Dwayne Johnson delivered exceptional performances. It will be interesting if they can reignite their camaraderie once again on the screen.
