Stephanie McMahon has arguably been the most influential female personality in the pro wrestling industry. Even though she’s no longer associated with WWE, her love for the company is globally known. The Billion Dollar Princess has given her entire life to this industry and has been a part of some really memorable moments.
Alongside the moments Stephanie would love to experience again, there have also been some incidents that she may never want to talk about. One such segment took place on a RAW episode in 2013, as she felt really disrespected in front of a massive crowd.
This incident took place when Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes was talking to Triple H to defend his sons. But as The Game’s wife tried to interfere, Dusty stopped her by putting his palm on her face. It was an unscripted moment, and thus people felt it may have generated real-life heat between Cody’s father and Stephanie.

The reaction she gave to this move by Cody’s father showed pretty well how upset she was by Dusty going off-script. Due to the same thing, she immediately slapped his hand away, and it was visible that the then-36-year-old Stephanie felt really disrespected during this segment.
However, her furiousness over the segment was probably just for a certain period of time, as an instant response to the issue. She was obviously not happy with what Cody’s father did, but the heat that was generated was just for some time, and things got better with time.
Stephanie McMahon once gave Cody Rhodes an advice for a lifetime
Another thing that probably clears out the possibility of Stephanie having any real-life heat with Dusty was a suggestion she gave to his son. She once gave Cody Rhodes an advice for a lifetime, and it was related to his father only. This was revealed by Rhodes during an appearance on Chris Van Vliet’s podcast.
The former CEO gave Cody this advice after he returned to the Stamford-based promotion. The fan-favorite star used to refrain from referencing his father’s name during his AEW career. But he started using it again during his ongoing WWE run only after Stephanie’s advice to him.

Talking about the same, The American Nightmare said, “I remember Stephanie McMahon said this. She said use everything, use everything you have. And there couldn’t be a more appropriate time to use everything.” At the end of the conversation around this topic, he added, “And she was right.” (Via: TJR Wrestling)
Looking at how Rhodes expressed his gratitude for The Billion Dollar Princess, it seems that advice helped him a lot. Even though Cody hasn’t been able to win any title since his return to the promotion, he might not be too far away. It remains to be seen when and where The American Nightmare can get his hands on WWE’s top prize to fulfil his father’s dream.
