The trio of Holiday brothers – Jrue Holiday, Justin Holiday, and Aaron Holiday made history in the 2018-2019 season. They became the first-ever trio to play in the same NBA game together. By this time, Jrue Holiday had already established himself as one of the rising stars. On the other hand, his brothers were just getting the spotlight that they certainly deserved.

Furthermore, their parents, Toya and Shawn Holiday are also former basketball players. Both of them played basketball in college teams, Toya for Merced College and Shawn for Arizona State University. All four of their children followed in their footsteps and are successful basketball players. In addition to the trio of sons who play in the NBA, their daughter, Lauren Holiday is a former basketball player at UCLA Bruins.
Interestingly, Jrue’s sister and his wife share the same name which has often caused confusion to the fans. His wife, Lauren, is a former soccer player. She had a life-threatening brain tumor that cost her soccer career and has been prioritizing her health. The entire Holiday family has athleticism in their veins, and each has a successful career.
Aaron Holiday is playing for the Houston Rockets and Justin Holiday for the Denver Nuggets
All three of the Holiday brothers had different career timelines. Despite being the eldest, Justin Holiday joined the NBA three years after Jrue Holiday. Notably, Justin went undrafted in 2011, he made his debut in the next season after being picked by the Philadelphia 76ers. Jrue also made his debut with the same team in 2009, and the two brothers played together for a brief period of time.
On the other side, the youngest of the Holiday brothers, Aaron, entered the league in 2018 after being selected by the Indiana Pacers. Interestingly, Justin not only played with Jrue on the same team but also with Aaron as he signed with the Pacers. The two played together for the Pacers as well as for the Atlanta Hawks in 2022.
Currently, Aaron Holiday is playing for the Houston Rockets, whereas, Justin Holiday is donning the Denver Nuggets jersey. Additionally, Jrue Holiday is currently playing for the Boston Celtics. Being the youngest and the last one to join the league amidst the Holiday brothers, Aaron is the only one without a championship to his name.
Jrue won a championship in 2021 with the Milwaukee Bucks, whereas, Justin Holiday won in 2015 as he was in the Golden State Warriors roaster. It is undeniable that all three of them have displayed remarkable skills since the start of their respective career. Fans await to witness their performance in the 2023-24 NBA season.
