Conor McGregor and his team’s losing skid remains as Michael Chandler and his team members control yet another episode of the Ultimate Fighter Series. In the latest episode of The Ultimate Fighter season 31, Team McGregor’s Carlos Vera took on Team Chandler’s Brad Katona. The episode saw a perfect 5-0 victory for Team Chandler against Team Conor.
As Chandler’s squad aims to dominate the competition and leave McGregor’s team in the ash, the series appears to be shaping up to prove to be a one-sided affair. Conor McGregor looked frustrated with the structure of the match. Just after the judges made their decision, Conor was heard stating, “F*CK This! These Two Rounders, we want three-rounders here, judges!” Team Chandler moved up their winning streak and secured a great position for his team.

UFC president, Dana White was present during the match between Trevor and Timur. Conor looked seemingly upset with White as well. Conor stated, “Dana, tell them! Three rounds yeah.” According to Conor, the fight was unfinished and the result could’ve been different if there was a third round. Conor was somehow happy for the performance of Trevor because of some beautiful shots.
Is Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler still happening?
Michael Chandler believes the Conor McGregor bout will take place in 2023. The former Bellator champ reportedly spoke with Daniel Cormier about the course of events of the rumored fight with “The Notorious.” It’s been nearly a month since the premiere of The Ultimate Fighter’s 31st season, which features Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor as rival coaches. Fans are aware of the show’s recent developments but there has been no mention of the fight between the two guys.
Chandler recognizes the importance of the public’s demand for updates, and he has the following response: “Of course, everybody wants answers,” Chandler said to Cormier. “They’re eager for answers. But, ultimately, we all have to practice patience. This, for me, is a time right now to practice patience. I knew what I signed up for. I knew doing the Ultimate Fighter that there was gonna be a lull and a long period of time and the show… we’re not even halfway through the show yet.” (Via- Bloody Elbow)
The UFC also anticipates that the Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler battle will take place this year. They aren’t, however, have the same level of certainty as they would with a fixed booking. Conor McGregor has not competed since UFC 264 in 2021. Meanwhile, Michael Chandler previously competed in November 2022 at UFC 281.
