Joe Rogan has been called out by The MMA Guru for downplaying Sharaputdin Magomedov’s involvement in a public fight. Magomedov was seen brawling with a stranger in a mall in Dagestan in January 2022 because the stranger apparently kissed his girlfriend. Magomedov seemed to have not liked what he saw as he went after the stranger because of it. It is what he did after that was even more shocking.
Magomedov was seen hiding behind passer-byes and launching a surprise attack on the stranger after the dust had settled. The MMA fighter punched the stranger in the face and then stomped on him brutally.
On an episode of JRE, Rogan discussed the issue with Belal Muhammad. Rogan did not go into the depths of the seriousness of the situation. Muhammad, on the other hand, gave excuses such as PDA being against the culture in Dagestan.
The MMA Guru was outraged in his recent video on YouTube. He scorched Rogan for not taking the issue seriously. He explained how although Magomedov might be a great fighter, his actions are not normal. The YouTuber even cited a grappling match of Magomedov where he showed great anger at a loss against a Polish opponent. He was reportedly disqualified from the event due to his unsportsmanlike conduct.
Sharaputdin Magomedov will be making his UFC debut at UFC 294 against Bruno Silva
Magomedov is another Dagestani addition to the UFC. He follows in the steps of UFC greats like Khabib Nurmagomedov. Like Khabib, Magomedov is also undefeated in professional MMA. As of now, Magomedov holds an impressive 11-0 record before being signed by the UFC.

UFC 294, which is set to take place in Abu Dhabi, UAE, will feature several Dagestani fighters. Although UFC has never hosted an event in Russia, UAE is usually used as a home ground for Dagestani fighters.
A shocking fact about the 29-year-old is that he is completely blind in his right eye. Reports suggest that he suffered an injury during a training camp in Thailand. Despite multiple surgeries, he could not save his vision in one eye. Reportedly, he took a three-year break due to the injury. However, he came back and continued to build on his undefeated streak.
