Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has removed all his posts related to Napoli from his social media. This was after the club shared a funny TikTok video of the star.
The player was badly mocked by his own club on social media after he missed a penalty in their latest 0-0 draw against Bologna this weekend. Although it is now deleted from the current Serie A champion’s TikTok account, a video was posted by the club. In it, the striker was seen asking for the penalty and missing it as a high-pitched voice said ”gimme penalty please“.
Follwoing the incident, the striker wasn’t happy with the club’s treatment. There has been a few exchange of words between both parties. Now the nigerian striker himself has deleted all his social media post related to Napoli. This has brought a huge question mark regarding the player’s future at the Italian club following this incident.

In a recent video, Osimhen was reportedly seen ignoring and not greeting his club teammates Diego Demme and Piotr Zielinski while he entered the team hotel before the Udinese match. Although the striker was seen shaking hands with the club manager Rudi Garcia.
Osimhen scored around 26 league goals in 32 appearances last season as Napoli won their first Serie A title in more than 30 years. He was a prime target for a few of the top European giants like Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid.
Victor Osihmen’s agent warns Napoli about taking legal action against the club over the Tik-Tok video
Nigeria and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda has threatened the club that his client might file a lawsuit against them over the Tik-Tok video mockery that he had to face. The striker was mocked by the club and fans after he missed the penalty against Bologna and a video of his missing penalty was posted by the club’s own TikTok account.
Calenda recently released a statement regarding this incident in his recent social media post. His statement read, “What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted.”
It further read, “A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news. We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor.”

Many are speculating that the player might be considering his career at the club following this incident. The player is also quite aware of the interest he is currently attracting from other top European clubs. And Osimhen might take a look for a way out if things between both parties don’t smoothen soon.
