Denmark striker Rasmus Hojlund has already started creating records for Manchester United after playing just 23 minutes for his new club. The player joined the Premier League club this summer from the Serie A side Atlanta.
According to reports, Hojlund has already become the fastest player at Man United so far this season. He had a top speed of 35.45 km/hour in the match against Arsenal. With this, he has also become the player with the fifth-highest top speed. This list is currently led by Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke, followed by Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon and Fulham’s Adama Traore.
Solanke had a top speed of 36.10 km/hour in the match against Tottenham Hotspurs. Former Everton man, Anthony Gordon, is currently in the second and the third spot on this list by clocking a top speed of 35.67 km/hour against Manchester City and 35.63 km/hour against Aston Villa.
Traore, who recently moved from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Fulham this summer clocked a speed of 35.55 km/hour against Arsenal this season.

Hojlund has been a prized acquisition by Erik ten Hag. The former Ajax manager fought really hard about signing the young striker from the Italian side. However, he didn’t start a match. But he made his debut from the bench in the game where Arsenal thrashed Manchester United 3-1.
The striker has recently spoken to Danish media outlet BOLD about his time at Old Trafford so far. Hojlund said, “It has been positive. I think that I made a good jump-in. And I hope that there are more minutes after the national team break. We have some exciting matches ahead. We have to face Brighton this weekend and Bayern Munich in the next midweek, so I’m really looking forward to that.”

The $89.2 million striker is hoped to do great things in his new adventure in England. The Dutch manager would want his new signing to break quite a few more records in the rest of the season to help Manchester United reach its former glory. It is to be seen if Hojlund turns out to be the prolific striker as many are hoping he is.

Austrian club Sturm Graz’s striker William Boving has rated his former teammate Rasmus Hojlund’s career progress to be nothing sort of crazy. Both played together in Copenhagen and Sturm Graz.
Hojlund joined Manchester United in a deal worth $89.2 million from Italian club Atalanta. United is the striker’s fourth club in just three years, after short stints at FC Copenhagen, Strum Graz, and Atalanta.
In a recent interview with BOLD, his former teammate Boving talked about his impressive career growth. The Strum Graz striker said, “It’s crazy because there aren’t many people who take such a fast path forward, but it’s really good, and he’s taken the chances he’s been given. He’s a big boy who makes good use of it, so well done him. They are impressed at Sturm Graz.”
The player then concluded by saying, “They think it’s crazy because they got a player from FCK who first got his breakthrough in Sturm Graz. And the journey after has been lightning-fast and good.”
The Danish striker is yet to make a full-match appearance for the Red Devils. Reports suggest that fans might not have to wait much for that. The player might make his first start for the club in the match against Brighton on Saturday, September 16.
Man United is currently in the 11th place of the league table with just six points from four matches. They have already lost two of their four matches. Ten Hag’s men would now look to avoid such results if they want to challenge the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City for the league title this season. The club hopes Hojlund to be the answer to their goalscoring problems and help the club progress in the path of success in the upcoming days.
