Al Hilal’s recent signing Neymar has recently been among the headlines for different reasons associated with the club. However, this time the Brazilian has hit the reports by doing something unusual. The 31-year-old has recently been preparing for Al Hilal SFC’s first AFC Champions League match.
Neymar and his Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal will face Nassaji Mazandaran as their first opponent in the AFC Champions League. However, before the match, Brazil’s number ten took a stroll at the venue in which the match will be held at Iran.
The 31-year-old’s inspection of the pitch didn’t turn out much to his liking. The player couldn’t fathom the condition of the pitch. After inspecting the unbelievable pitch conditions, the veteran took the matter into his own hands. The winger also tweeted about it ironically by saying – “This is not possible”.

Neymar joined the Saudi Pro League’s Al Hilal in August 2023. The veteran signed a contract close to a two-year period with the club. Though he has not scored any goals for the club in his first four outings, the number ten has three assist contributions.
Before signing for Al Hilal, the player was at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). His stint with the French side lasted for about 173 matches. The 31-year-old winger netted over 115 goals for the Ligue 1 club. The Brazilian raked over 75 assists for the club.
Al Hilal currently sits at the top of the Saudi Pro League table. With six wins in their first eight matches, the club had started the season on a good note. They haven’t lost a single match in the league yet, with the rest of the two results being a draw. The team would hope that their Brazilian signing starts scoring and helps them further propel their brilliant beginning to the 2023-2024 campaign.
Neymar responds to the claims of him wanting Al Hilal’s management to sack Jorge Jesus
According to the reports, the 31-year-old was not happy with Al Hilal’s manager Jorge Jesus. Reports further stated that he talked to the upper hierarchy at the club, to give the manager a sack. Apparently, as reports stated, Jorge Jesus was also not happy with the Brazilian’s on-field attitude.
However, the winger has rubbished this rumor of falling out with Jorge Jesus. He stated the information as “lies”. The player took to one of his social accounts and said – “You all got to stop believing these things”. He further undermined the news reports and suggested stopping posting rumors like this. The veteran expressed that this kind of stuff inflicts “disrespect.”
