After realizing his error, McCoist soon said, “I meant Salah, have I just made somebody up?” with Woods stating: “Not Wilfried Zaha! This was one of the highlights in the soccer community as it irked a lot of laughs and jokes on the social media apps by soccer fans around the world.
However, on the contrary, it remains to be seen how Mohamed Salah will perform in the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea FC if he recovers in time. As for Wilfried Zaha, he has been performing brilliantly in his new club, Galastaray FC.

The 31-year-old may give offers careful thought once a year has passed since joining Galatasay. Zaha has made 31 appearances in all competitions since joining the team, with 10 goals and five assists in those games. It remains to be seen how this story moves in the coming months as many EPL clubs will be on the market for Zaha if he chooses to leave the Turkish club.

During his pregame press conference, assistant manager Pep Lijnders stated that the final decision would be made shortly before kickoff. Pep said, “Dom [Szoboszlai], Darwin, and Mo, we have to really see,” he stated on February 23rd morning. “We have two more days. Today’s session and tomorrow’s session, in the last minute we will check, if they can be there it will be great, to be honest.”
