Georgina Rodriguez is an Argentine-born Spanish social media influencer and model. She is also the girlfriend of Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. The pair met each other at a Gucci store in Madrid in 2016 where Rodriguez used to work. Rodriguez said that she had butterflies in her stomach the first time Ronaldo talked to her and that she had an instant crush on him.
The two secretly dated for a few months. Then they officially came out as a couple. They have now been together for almost seven years. Rodriguez and Ronaldo have two kids together, both daughters.
In July 2017, Ronaldo made the happy announcement that he and his girlfriend Rodriguez were expecting their first child together. The pair welcomed their first baby together on November 12, 2017. They named their first daughter Alana Martina.
In October 2021, Ronaldo made the announcement again that he and Rodriguez are expecting. The soccer star posted a picture of him lying on the bed with Rodriguez and holding up an ultrasound picture. They were expecting twins.
However, in April 2022, Ronaldo announced the death of their son ‘Angel’. He said in an Instagram post, “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,” Ronaldo wrote. “Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.”
Their daughter, Bella Esmeralda, was born healthy. Rodriguez even shared a picture of Ronaldo and Bella recently on her Instagram.
Are all of Cristiano Ronaldo’s kids Georgina’s?
Ronaldo has five kids of his own. One of which, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., was born in 2010. This was much before he even met Georgina. To this date, Ronaldo has not disclosed the identity of his firstborn’s mother to the public.
He told Jonathan Ross in 2015, “Some points in life are private and people have to respect the privacy. When Cristiano is going to grow up, I am always going to say the truth to him because he deserves it, because he is my son. But I am not going to say [it just] because people want me to say.”
Seven years later, in June 2017, Ronaldo welcomed twins via a surrogate mother. Eva and Mateo, a daughter and son, were celebrated by Ronaldo and his family. Out of the five children of Ronaldo, two are Georgina’s. However, Georgina treats them all like her own children and they all live together happily.
