During his 14-year stay in Italy, Eriksson went on to win 1x Serie A, 5x Coppa Italia, 2x Supercoppa Italiana, 1x UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, and 1x UEFA Super Cup. During his stay in Italy, he earned his most honors with Lazio.

Sven-Goran Eriksson’s illness revealed
Being a massive name across England, it was recently revealed by Sven-Goran Eriksson that he might not be able to manage any club or country ever again. When asked about it Eriksson revealed that he has been suffering from a massive illness.
While interviewing with Swedish Radio P1 Eriksson said, “Everyone can see that I have a disease that’s not good, and everyone supposes that it’s cancer, and it is. But I have to fight it as long as possible.”
Knowing how long he has left to live he further added, “I know that in the best case, it’s about a year, in the worst case even less. Or in the best case, I suppose even longer. I don’t think the doctors I have can be sure, they can’t put a day on it.”

When talking about the recovery procedure and the pain he is facing he added, “I’m not in any major pain. But I’ve been diagnosed with a disease that you can slow down but you cannot operate. So it is what it is.”
Many of his former clubs have honored him and have pledged to his better health. Everybody has been in full support of him, helping him in whatever manner they possibly can. Recently Sven-Goran Eriksson revealed he had one dream job.
Jurgen Klopp invites Sven-Goran Eriksson to be the manager of Liverpool
And that dream job was none other than being a manager for his favorite club, Liverpool. When asked about his dream job he said, “I’m a Liverpool fan, so I’ve always wanted to be their manager and that’s not going to happen, but I’m still a Liverpool fan.”
Hearing about this news, Jurgen Klopp couldn’t stop himself as he went on to present an offer to the former England boss. When Jurgen Klopp heard about these statements he added, “I don’t know him personally, unfortunately. I first heard about his admiration or love for Liverpool and that he was a supporter all his life.”

Presenting the offer Jurgen Klopp said, “Sven, you are invited from the bottom of all our hearts to come here and you can have my office, you can lead a session if you want. That’s all no problem.” Further adding his love for the Swedish manager, “Open arms. Come over here and let’s have a few great hours together.”
Whether Sven-Goran Eriksson accepts the offer or not. It would be a dream come true for him at such a vital stage of his life. But with things going in full motion, Jurgen Klopp is to be given his applause as well. Offering his colleague a dream job is something nobody can top off.
