Qatari authorities reportedly enticed Kylian Mbappe to renew his PSG contract.
Mbappe’s saga gripped the soccer world as he shifted between signing for Real Madrid and staying at Paris Saint Germain like a pendulum.
As a World Cup winner at 19 years old, the only player to score a hat trick in the world cup final, and only the second player to score in the world cup final as a teenager, along with being the Ligue 1 top scorer for five consecutive seasons, Mbappe is undoubtedly once in a lifetime soccer star.
The 24-year-old star striker has long been linked with Real Madrid. He had posters of Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo in his bedroom. He was also invited to the Spanish club’s academy as an 11-year-old and had long said that it was his dream to play for Real Madrid.
Hence, when the Spanish giants submitted a $188 million bid for Mbappé in August last year, many considered the deal closed as even the striker admitted that he wanted to leave PSG.
Now, reports have emerged claiming that Kylian Mbappe Was coerced by “Qatari Authorities and French President Emmanuel Macron” to Renew the Contract with PSG.

Mbappé was born and raised in a suburb about 11 kilometers from Paris and has lived in France his entire life as the icon of the French National Team. Mbappé’s worth reaches far beyond his performances on the pitch and into the political circle.
In one of the interviews after renewing the contract, he admitted to talking with Macron and taking his advice but denied any influence and said it was his own decision.
Another Transfer Saga In Making for Kylian Mbappe?
A year later, Mbappe again stands at the same door, wanting to leave PSG. However, Real Madrid has learned their lesson this time and will dictate the terms.
Last year, Real Madrid had reportedly offered Mbappé a signing bonus of almost €130 million. They offered a net annual salary of more than €24 million.
According to earlier reports, Mbappe was looking to leave PSG for Madrid this year. However, he denied that by replying to a tweet. Mbappe will be a free agent next season if he doesn’t renew his contract.

En même temps plus c’est gros plus ça passe. J’ai déjà dis que je vais continuer la saison prochaine au PSG où je suis très heureux. https://t.co/QTsoBQvZKU
Thus, watching whether PSG sells him this season or if he is ‘coerced’ once again to renew the contract will be interesting. Will he finally join his dream club Real Madrid or will a new club enter and pursue Mbappe to join them?
The transfer saga of Mbappe has a sequel in the making, and it will surely be a must-watch.
