Upon his announcement as Liverpool’s new manager
“Does anyone in this room think that I can do wonders? I’m a normal guy from the Black Forest. My mother is very proud. I am the normal one,” said Jurgen Klopp after he was appointed as Liverpool boss and also claimed he was the normal one and did not need a special tag for him.

“I heard from my agent that Liverpool is interested and I felt immediately, ‘Oh God’, it’s like when I met my wife – I saw her and thought OK, I marry her and it was like that with the club. It felt right from the first moment,” said Jurgen Klopp when he joined Liverpool FC back in 2015.
After capturing the Premier League
After winning the title Klopp said, “We created our own story and history and didn’t try to do what our wonderful dads and grandfathers did with this club.” Jurgen Klopp did the unthinkable with Liverpool FC and won their first EPL trophy after 33 long years at the club in the 2019-20 season.
On overcoming Barcelona in the Champions League with a comeback
“We know this club is the mix of atmosphere, emotion, desire and football quality. Cut off one and it doesn’t work – we know that. I’ve said it before. If I have to describe this club then it’s a big heart and tonight it was obviously like crazy, pounding like crazy. You could hear it and probably feel it all over the world,” said Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp and his side provided one of the best nights in the UEFA Champions League history by defeating FC Barcelona 4-0 at the Anfield stadium. They were trailing by 3 goals due to their loss at Camp Nou but provided a fitting comeback in their home ground.
Regarding Liverpool being the underdog
“We are still Rocky Balboa, not Ivan Drago. It’s not about being the underdog, not one little bit. I don’t want to be the underdog. I want to win, and Rocky won,” said Jurgen Klopp. Jurgen has always been a top professional throughout his career and has done wonders for whichever club he has managed.

Klopp is a well-known supporter of Gegenpressing, in which the side tries to regain possession as soon as it is lost instead of retreating to regroup. Regarding his teams’ high attacking output and pressing style, he has referred to them as playing “heavy metal” soccer.
Arrigo Sacchi, an Italian coach, and Wolfgang Frank, a former Mainz coach, are two of Klopp’s primary influences. Throughout his managerial career, Klopp has emphasized the value of passion, and his fervent touchline celebrations have won him both respect and controversy.
