The summer transfer window is officially open before the 2023-24 season, and plenty of news and rumors are circulating ahead of what promises to be a busy few weeks for clubs, agents, and players like Harry Kane.
Manchester United had a strong season under the managerial leadership of Erik Ten Hag as he guided the side back to Champions League play with a third-place finish. However, improving their depth is essential now that they’re in the Champions League. Man Utd has a list of players it wants to offload this summer and bring in fresh signings. Thus, it will be a busy time for the Red Devils.
One of the critical positions that United needs a solution for is a new striker, which is a big gap that they currently have. Hence, their fans were excited when news started circulating of Manchester United being interested in signing English superstar Harry Kane.
The striker, who is turning 30 next month, had a prolific season last year, finishing with 30 goals just behind the Manchester City sensation Erling Halland, who took the premiere league by storm in his debut season, breaking records left, right, and center.
Hence, the fans were cheering with the hope of the potential transfer of Harry Kane to United. However, reports have now emerged that Manchester United have ended their interest in signing Harry Kane from Tottenham, feeling the money it will take to lure the England striker to Old Trafford is unrealistic.

Victor Osimhen remains of interest to United, but he, too, is likely to be out of their reach, with Napoli understood to be asking £130m for the 24-year-old striker.
What’s the future for Harry Kane?
As for Harry Kane, he is looking at one or another to get out of the mess at Tottenham Hotspur and play at a champion club and add some trophies to his cabinet, with Hotspur winning their last trophy 15 years ago.
Kane has been a target for the Spanish giants Real Madrid for much of the transfer window. However, with the recent reports of Kylian Mbappe wanting to leave PSG, Madrid is now a bit skeptical about signing Kane as their main target has been Mbappe for the last few years.
Hence, Representatives of Harry Kane have recently met with PSG for a potential transfer to the French club. Hotspur is also reluctant to sell Kane to another Premier League club. Hence, blocking out a lot of big club transfers for one of the most consistent strikers of the Premier League.
According to the reports, if Mbappe leaves for Real Madrid, Harry Kane will be reluctant to join PSG and would instead play for Hotspur in the last year of his contract and join a big club next year as a free agent.
