According to various reports Manchester United midfielder Casemiro may sign with Al-Nassr of the Saudi Pro League in January or in the summer of the 2024-25 season. The Brazilian defensive midfielder has fallen short of boss Erik ten Hag’s expectations as per various reports.
Ronaldo is supposed to be playing a big role in the decision of the 31-year-old midfielder’s next club. The player is looking for a fresh chapter in his career after being sidelined by Erik ten Hag this season. The News claims that Casemiro is attracting interest from Al Nassr, the five-time UEFA Champions League winner, and is willing to pay up to $54.5 million to sign with the Saudi Pro League powerhouse.

Casemiro, a 31-year-old midfielder, would join Cristiano Ronaldo and Alex Telles as the third Manchester United star to go from Old Trafford to Riyadh if Al Nassr signs him. The two worked closely together at Real Madrid and shared four UEFA Champions League victories. Before the Portugal forward went to Juventus, Casemiro, and Ronaldo shared a close connection.
It remains to be seen what happens next with Casemiro in the upcoming months as apart from the Saudi side Al Nassr, many clubs will be lining up a move for his signature. It is yet to be determined if Man Utd is genuinely interested in partying ways with the legendary midfielder.
Casemiro has fallen under the pecking order at Manchester United
Manchester United is reportedly open to bids for a few experienced players during the January and summer transfer window, according to the Independent. Among these are Casemiro, Raphael Varane, and Jadon Sancho who have fallen under the pecking order of their manager Erik ten Hag.
In the soccer community, there is a rumor that Erik ten Hag has been working with players who were previously under his guidance. Ten Hag seems to be considering a revolution at Old Trafford, bringing in players that most closely align with his coaching philosophy.

MUFC has often found a run of good results at Old Trafford thanks to Casemiro’s heroics since his transfer from Real Madrid. But as a midfielder, the 31-year-old does not fit in well with manager Erik ten Hag’s requirements for the position. Also, at this stage of his career, Casemiro too appears to be seeking a fresh experience. Clubs like Al Nassr are now keeping an eye on the five-time winner of the UEFA Champions League.
With the clock-ticking for the 31-year-old many teams will be lining up a move for the soccer star in Casemiro. Also, he has a lot to provide and many teams will not give up on the opportunity if Man Utd well and truly decides to sell their defensive midfielder.
