When Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr at the start of this year, the Saudi Arabian club was at the top of the Saudi league. However, Al-Nassr has slipped up in the title race as they currently sit second in the league behind leaders Al-Ittihad. If Al-Nassr does fail to win the league at the end of the season, it would be a huge blemish on Ronaldo’s behalf.

Along with the subpar performances, Ronaldo’s unwarranted antics on the pitch have also earned the wrath of many soccer fans. A few days ago, Ronaldo made an obscene gesture after his team was defeated 0-2 by Al-Hilal. When Ronaldo was heading towards the dressing room, the supporters started provoking him by chanting Lionel Messi’s name.
Al-Nassr on the incident:
🗣️”Ronaldo suffers from an injury. His challenge with Gustavo Cuellar, the Al-Hilal player, started with a blow in a very sensitive area. This is confirmed information. As for the fans’ explanations, they are free to think whatever they want.” pic.twitter.com/x6foWbGfnY

The Portuguese star’s frustration got the better of him as he made a gesture by grabbing his crotch area. This incident led to lawyer Nouf bin Ahmed claiming to get Ronaldo arrested. Al-Nassr soon came to the aid of their star forward as they tried to defuse the situation. However, Al-Nassr was fined 15,000 riyals by the Saudi Football Association following Ronaldo’s indecent action.

There have been recent reports from El Nacional that say that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is planning on bringing back Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the reports also said that Perez certainly doesn’t want the 38-year-old Ronaldo to perform as a player. Ronaldo’s “new role” would be an ambassadorial one that would be similar to former Real Madrid icons like Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo Nazario, and so on.
