SUMMARY
- Jack Grealish, a colorful character in Manchester City, he recently gave an interview with ex-Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster.
- During the interview Grealish talks about his relationship with Erling Haaland and his insane diet.
Jack Grealish is one of the colorful characters of the Manchester City squad. The cheerful personality was on full display when the English midfielder was interviewed by former Manchester United goalkeeper, Ben Foster. The juicy bit of the interview came when the midfielder discussed his relationship with Erling Haaland and the bizarre diet of the striker.
Grealish started by comparing their sense of humor: “Yeah, I got on really well with him. Yeah. Just from the start really, we just clicked. We both, like a joke and winding people up.” The midfielder further discussed what gives Erling Haaland an edge over others on a soccer field: “He is unbelievable. I think he has a lot of stuff that he does. He hasn’t told me this, this is what I am thinking, that he does at home that helps him.”
Foster asked whether Grealish was talking about the gym work to which the English midfielder replied: “No, not really gym work but I think he like..well he mentioned hasn’t he before he drink all these mad stuff and that like kidney. I don’t know what he ate.” Foster and Grealish both went on to agree that Erling Haaland is a bit like a caveman.

Grealish added that these little percentages help Haaland stand out. Many people asked the English midfielder about Haaland’s behavior behind the screen, considering the striker’s stone-cold demeanor in interviews and public appearances. Grealish responded to these questions by concluding: “He is so good to have around changing room and loves joking and bantering and stuff and he gets me into trouble all the time.”
The healthy relationship was again on display when Haaland acted as a bodyguard of Jack Grealish after winning the FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia with a win over Fluminense in the final. Haaland missed out on the action due to a foot injury but proved useful in the post-match celebrations.
Erling Haaland’s bizzare diet and routine at Manchester City
Grealish touched upon the bizarre diet and home routine that gives an edge to the Norwegian striker. Haaland discussed his diet and routine back in 2022 during his first season at Manchester City. In the documentary, ‘Haaland: The Big Decision’ the striker touched on this subject.
Haaland was discussing the consumption of meat and how some people might argue that consumption of meat might be bad for you. As a pushback, Haaland argued that the quality of meat makes a big difference for him. For him, local cow-eating grass right is better than meat you get at fast food joints. The Manchester City striker concluded by revealing that he consumes heart and liver as part of his diet.
Manchester City superstar striker Erling Haaland credits eating cow heart, liver, and drinking filtered water with his peak physical performance:

In addition, Haaland also consumes 6,000 calories per day to meet his daily needs. For his home games, he has a pre-match lasagne cooked by his father, Alfie Haaland. Apart from the diet, the daily routine is also essential for the Premier League winner, which includes filtration of his water and getting sunlight in his eyes immediately after waking up.
These odd choices might raise some eyebrows but this seems to be working for the striker who is off to a record-breaking start in his first two seasons in the Premier League. Haaland has already scored 50 goals and 12 assists in 50 Premier League appearances at the age of 23 years old. At this rate, the sky is the limit for the Norwegian striker.
