As Kylian Mbappe enters into the final few months of his PSG contract, the rumors about his future continue. After a dramatic saga between Mbappe and PSG, the former has decided to continue at the club. On the other hand, it appeared as if Real Madrid had ended its pursuit of Mbappe. However, according to reports, another big club has shut its door for the Frenchmen.

According to reports from Sky Sports, Liverpool FC will NOT be making any move for Kylian Mbappe next year. With Mbappe’s contract set to expire on June 30, 2024, Liverpool has already announced its intentions. While Real Madrid has always remained as Mbappe‘s future destination, other soccer clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea have also been interested in him.
Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has previously talked about signing Kylian Mbappe. While Klopp praised Mbappe’s skills and talent, he stated that Liverpool doesn’t have the financials to afford Mbappe. However, after the recent reports about Liverpool and Mbappe came out, soccer fans have been trolling the Premier League giants. One fan even wrote, “Do they even have the money,” in their attempt to mock Liverpool.
Real Madrid offer Kylian Mbappe a one-time-only deal
After Kylian Mbappe rejected Real Madrid earlier this year, his move to the Spanish capital looked almost impossible. Mbappe has rejected a move to Real Madrid previously, albeit due to much persuasion by PSG. However, most recently, Real Madrid had stated that they wouldn’t try to sign the 2022 World Cup Golden Boot winner anymore.
If Mbappe doesn’t sign a new contract or an extension with PSG by this month, this automatically allows him to negotiate with any club he wants. However, when being asked about his future, Mbappe said, “There will be time to talk.” However, as per the Madrid-based news outlet Relevo, Los Blancos are prepared to offer Mbappe a one-time-only deal.

Real Madrid wants to sign Kylian Mbappe next summer and are prepared to offer him one final contract. The club will formally present the PSG star with an offer in January, as a player is allowed to negotiate with other clubs in the final six months of his contract. However, only time will tell whether the 24-year-old soccer star remains in Paris or catches the flight bound for Madrid.
