The Italian manager assured that the German center-back could recover quickly from the knock. He stated: “He has a knock and can recover. Let’s see in the next few days. It’s a strong blow to the thigh, but he’s a warrior.” The manager concluded the issue by adding that the upcoming match could be complicated without Rüdiger.

They have only dropped points four times this season. Real Madrid lost many players at the start of the season with major injuries, however, Ancelotti has managed to adjust his lineup and squad accordingly to mitigate the injury and a lack of a proper world-class striker. They are currently the favorite to win the league going into the second half of the season, ahead of Girona and FC Barcelona.
