However, the post made by the Instagram account did not sit well with the fans of Chelsea FC as it predicted that the existence of the club would be no more, it was some kind of a dig towards the club. The software shared images of clubs’ stadiums where Chelsea FC’s stadium was looking like it was in trenches, broken and dismantled.
However, it remains to be seen how the new American owners perform at the prestigious London-based club Chelsea FC as they have a lot to prove. Chelsea fans are yet not over their ex-Russian owner Roman Abramovich who invested in the club with his heart and won a lot of trophies during his tenure.
The downfall of Chelsea FC
Chelsea, the dominant team in the Premier League, has surely been among the finest teams in the world for the past few years. They have had incredible success in Europe and England over the past ten years, having won the UEFA Champions League a little over three years ago. But ever since the ownership changed, the Blues’ performance has recently declined.
Chelsea became a premier club under the leadership of its passionate owner, Roman Abramovich. Todd Boehly, the club’s new owner, seems to share their enthusiasm and has been heavily investing in the team over the past three transfer windows. But something is inappropriate with the team, and their on-field performance does not justify the enormous sums of money being spent.

Over the last two seasons in the EPL and in Europe, Chelsea has been performing extremely poorly and is not even in the top 5 of the league standings. The 2022-23 season saw their worst performance in the English league finishing in 13th position, with rival fans stating that the downfall of Chelsea FC had begun. It is up to the new owners now to deliver and prove everyone including their own fans wrong and get much-needed results.
