NFL is getting tougher as the week passes. Injury news headaches fans and the teams at the end of every match week. The trend continues as during last week’s match between Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals, bringing another injury news.
The star Quarterback of the Jaguars, Trevor Lawrence, was limped off the pitch because of an ankle injury. In the match, it was quite clear that the team was missing their QB extremely.
Ultimately, the Jaguars left the pitch that day with a defeat against the Bengals, with a score line of 31-34. Last week’s home fixture was not very memorable for them, and they will try to make a comeback when they face off against the Cleveland Browns.
#nfl QB Trevor Lawrence’s availability for the game against the Browns will be decided at game-time, as he recovers from a high ankle sprain. Backup QB C.J. Beathard is also dealing with an injury. The Browns are looking to secure a playoff spot and are… https://t.co/6qct1DrvBj

However, before the match, they must find a replacement for Lawrence if the 24-year-old cannot get fit within time. It will also be a big challenge for the Jaguar’s medical staff and Lawrence to get fit in time and walk onto the pitch in their away fixture.
The Jaguars already put their starter on the injury list, but they will try their best to make the QB match fit. The team has not decided, as they will wait till Sunday before making any official statement.
Will Trevor Lawrence play against the Cleveland Browns?
The biggest question that comes to the mind of supporters is whether their star men will be able to start against the Browns. After suffering from the home defeat against the Bengals, the Jaguars will try to come back to the winning track.
But if Lawrence cannot participate in the game, it will be very tough for them as the quarterback plays a vital role for the Jaguars.
During the last press conference, when the head coach of Jaguars, Doug Pederson, was asked about the 24-year injury status, he said, “We’ll see.” Therefore, it is quite clear the final decision will be made on the gameday and not before that.
Pederson said, “He moved around a little bit yesterday; see how he does today. I base it on the medical staff, how Trevor feels, and whether he can go. I’m still optimistic for this weekend, but the fact that he’s willing and able to put himself out of there for his teammates and team speaks volumes”.
However, if, in the end, he is not a match fit, then the backup quarterback, C.J. Beathard, will take his place. It will be a great chance for him to prove his ability and skill in the absence of Lawrence.
