Joe Burrow’s night against the Baltimore Ravens was cut short with an injury. The highest-paid NFL player has been struggling lately with average performances for the Cincinnati Bengals, as this new setback poses some new problems for the head coach, Zac Taylor.
The one-time Super Bowl finalist left the clash in the second quarter with some discomfort in his wrist. Burrow injured his right wrist on a 4-yard touchdown throw to Joe Mixon and did not return after walking away with discomfort.

Cincinnati Bengals allegedly hid Joe Burrow’s wrist injury
Joe Burrow’s latest injury has puzzled fans and experts after reports came out that the Bengals hid his wrist injury leading up to the game against the Ravens. The alarm bells were ringing when Burrow was caught entering the stadium before the game wearing a brace on his right hand. However, he wasn’t reported injured by the Bengals earlier this week.
Zac Taylor also commented on the video footage but stated that he wasn’t ‘aware’ of any prior injuries to his star player. Fans are optimistic about the situation considering the open comments from Taylor, who is known for being tight-lipped in these situations.

Burrow suffered a calf strain earlier in the year that kept him out of the pre-season, but slowly regained his fitness before the four-week win streak from weeks six to nine. In this case, the clock is ticking as the Bengals are set to host the Pittsburgh Steelers on November 26.
Joe Burrow has been under the spotlight since becoming the NFL’s highest-paid player in September 2023. He signed a five-year extension with the Cincinnati Bengals. The deal was reported to be around $275 million, which amounts to $55 million per year.
As for the Cincinnati Bengals, they are currently bottom of the AFC North division with five losses. They are currently on a losing streak of two matches and would be hoping that Burrow makes a quick return to help the team with his elite ball placement abilities in the offense.
