Super Bowl 57 brought us some amazing moments which fans will remember for a long time. Fans were treated to spectacular performances by Rihanna, during the halftime show and Patrick Mahomes on the field. As for Machine Gun Kelly, the event will likely be memorable as well, just not for the same reason as most.
During a pre-Super Bowl gig on Friday, Kelly claims he was “electrocuted”. Ahead of Sunday’s big game, the rapper was on stage when he felt electric shocks. In a video on his Instagram story, the musician was seen performing when his hair suddenly stood up, likely due to the special effects equipment.

Further, MGK posted on Twitter about the same thing, where the caption reads, “getting electrocuted during a performance was a first for me…but the hair’s cool”. As such, the post shows a screenshot from a fan of the exact moment MGK’s hair stood up. The post saw a lot of reactions from fans who were drawing comparisons with other known cartoon characters.
At the time of the incident, MGK put down his microphone, letting the guide track play in the background. He would then shake his head to get his hair hanging down again. Thereafter, MGK then ran back to the front of the stage to get closer to the fans in the arena.

Currently, it is unclear whether the musician was actually electrocuted or not. As such, many have speculated that his hair could have spiked up from a jolt of static electricity. Moreover, no medics showed up at the scene and there was no evidence of him receiving medical aid either.
Did Machine Gun Kelly perform at Super Bowl 57?
MGK was performing on stage at the Coors Light Bird’s Nest for a Super Bowl party on Friday in Scottsdale, Arizona, prior to Sunday’s Super Bowl 57 big game. Following the performance, the 32-year-old rapper was seen out in Scottsdale with his fiancé Megan Fox, 36. The couple previously went public with their relationship in 2020 and announced that they were engaged in January last year.
Previously, Megan also wrote some encouraging words for Kelly in a long Instagram post, commending his “humility and maturity” just before the Grammy Awards. On the occasion, the musician fell short of winning the Best Rock Album for ‘Mainstream Sellout’, with Ozzy Osbourne winning the award instead.

In the post, Megan said congratulated Colson for being nominated for the esteemed award. Notably, she finished off the message with, “I hope one day you’ll see yourself the way I see you. I love you and I’ll keep this memory of you forever.”
Recently, the actress first removed all pictures and unfollowed MGK from her Instagram, following sworn rival Eminem along with Timothee Chalamet and Harry Styles instead. Thereafter, the actress also quoted lyrics from a song by Beyonce, whilst posing in front of a domestic abuse poster.

Currently, it appears as though Megan Fox, who has worked with Cristiano Ronaldo before, has deactivated her Instagram as well. It is understood that the couple has broken up, with more news on the matter likely to be available soon.
