The speculation and controversy after Aaron Rodgers’s comments on Jimmy Kimmel’s presence in the Epstein list aren’t ending soon. No one takes Rodgers’s insulting statement about one of the best personalities of Disney lightly. Soon after the incident Kimmel gave a tremendous response to Rodgers via X and threatened to take legal action.
On Pat McAfee’s show, Rodger was asked to share his opinion about the court’s possible declaration of the documents of Epstein’s list. In response, the Jets quarterback said, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, who is hoping that doesn’t come out… if that list comes out, I will be popping some sort of bottles.”
Due to this illogical and meaningless quote by Rodgers on a show and about a person who is both linked with the same platform can never be ignored so easily. Despite making such an offended comment, Rodgers hasn’t even apologized to the comedian yet.
Stephen A. Smith, the United States sports television personality, has asked Rodgers to apologize to Kimmel and hail McAfee for apologizing to the comedian after the incident took place in his show. In a recent statement, Smith said, “I can applaud Pat McAfee for apologizing, but let me be the first to say he didn’t need to. He didn’t do anything wrong. It’s his show, the show is live, he didn’t know what Aaron Rodgers was going to say.”
The American Sports personality said, “Aaron Rodgers should just apologize.” Rodgers has yet to open his mouth after the incident on McAfee show, and if he does apologize within a few days, then maybe the situation can improve a bit.
Pat McAfee clarifies Aaron Rodgers’ comments on Jimmy Kimmel.
Aaron Rodgers‘ comments on Jimmy Kimmel put the quarterback under tremendous pressure and also put ESPN and the show host Pat McAfee into excessive criticism. However, within a few hours of the incident, ESPN and Pat McAfee apologize to Kimmel.
McAfee said, “There were some things that were probably, I mean, we’ll have to hear from Aaron on that, meant to be a s**t talk joke that can become a grave allegation that leads to a massive overnight story.” The show host also said he understood why Jimmy reacted like that and how he felt. When someone is in Jimmy’s position get criticized without any reason then it is harder to accept.
McAfee thought whatever Rodger said, everything was s**t. No one likes to be linked with negative things as we all want to live under light always. McAfee said that if the allegation is on such a serious topic, then no one will ever like that.
McAfee apologized to Kimmel, saying, “So we apologize for being a part of it. I can’t wait to hear what Aaron has to say about it. Hopefully, those two will just be able to settle this.” Rodgers is a weekly guest at Pat McAfee’s show, and on Tuesday’s show, he looked a bit quiet.
