Antonio Brown is an extremely divisive character in the world of National Football League (NFL). From trolling Tom Brady following the 7-time Super Bowl winner’s divorce to exposing his private parts to a woman in Dubai, Brown has been in the headlines despite his absence on the football field. Brown has not played football since 2022.
Following his short stint at the New England Patriots, Brown joined his friend Tom Brady at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. The first season was extremely successful as he and Brady led the Bucs to the Super Bowl title. However, the following season was a horror show from Brown, who had a major falling out with the management and accused the team of forcing him to play through an injury.
He even walked out in the middle of a game against the New York Jets. It led to the team terminating the player’s contract and Brown has been without a team till now. But, that may change for the 2023-24 season!
Antonio Brown announces his NFL return with Baltimore Ravens
Recently, Antonio Brown took to Twitter and revealed to his 1.6 million followers that he is returning to the field with the Baltimore Ravens. The post has generated over 61k+ likes and has sent NFL fans into a frenzy. However, Brown has a reputation for trolling the fans and so there are a lot of question marks whether the fans can take his post seriously or not.

He wrote, “Excited to return to the NFL this year… #RavensFlock.”
Although Brown is claiming that he will be back, there have been no comments from the Ravens on the matter. On top of that, the league has not confirmed the news either. So it is hard to take Brown’s comment at face value.
Did Brown jump the gun and announce something that he was not supposed to? If that is the case, then fans can expect an official statement from the Ravens soon. However, for now, fans can take Brown’s claims with a massive pinch of salt.
The one-time Super Bowl winner has 142 NFL games under his belt since making his debut in the 2010 season. With 12291 yards, Brown has 12 touchdowns to his resume. He also has a career-catching rate of 66.0%. So there is no doubt that Antonio Brown is a crunch player.
However, his off-field antics make him a tough choice for the teams in NFL. Brown himself revealed previously that he did not want to continue his football career. But his recent post suggests that he is open to resuming his career and is perhaps looking for suiters.
