Tamara Lynn Sytch, aka Sunny, has found herself in deep waters with her current lawsuit. A former WWE star, she became popular for her run in the Stamford-based promotion. Working as a ring announcer and valet for the company, she grew extremely popular among the fans for her contributions.
Sunny attained a new identity for herself in 2011 when she was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. However, soon after this, her life started going downhill. Since 2012, the former WWE star has been arrested numerous times for various cases. This also marked the start of her multiple tenures in jail.

However, the biggest of her legal issues came in 2022, after Sunny was involved in a car crash that took the life of a 75-year-old man. Since then, she has spent her days in prison. With multiple pleas and hearings on the matter, she has reached the final hearing of the case.
The Volusia County courtroom announced that Tamara Lynn Sytch will have to serve in prison for 17 years. In addition to this, she will have to serve 8 years on probation after the imprisonment years, making her total sentence to 25 years. Her driver’s licence also stands revoked permanently after the incident.
A timeline of Sunny aka Tamara Lynn Sytch’s arrest
On March 25, 2022, Sunny was driving her Mercedes Benz, which crashed into a Kia Sorento at the red light. In the process, a 75-year-old man was killed, while Sunny sustained minor injuries. Later, it was found that she had a blood alcohol level that was 3.5 times beyond the permissible limits. This put her behind bars, but she was later released on a bond of $227,500.
However, looking at her records in the past, the authorities cited her as a threat to the community and she returned to jail. In August 2023, she pleaded no contest to almost all the charges imposed on her. But now, she is behind the bars for 17 years for driving without license, DUI manslaughter excluding the probation period.

Looking at her actions now, Sunny seemed apologetic for her actions. In the courtroom, she apologized to the victim’s family. “I know my words are not enough but please know that I think about you every day,” she told them. However, nothing can be changed now and she’ll have to spend the next 17 years of her life behind bars.
