Tamara Lynn Sytch, aka Sunny, made a good enough name for herself inside the WWE (then WWF) ring. Hailing as the ‘Original WWE Diva,’ there were other events that put her on the ‘Wanted’ list. Following her actions outside the ring, Sunny has found herself surrounded by numerous legal proceedings for cases such as DUI, violating protective orders and driving under license suspension.
Sunny’s latest arrest came in May 2022 for being the reason for the death of a 75-year-old man in Florida. On March 25, 2022, as told by the witnesses, the former WWE star was driving her Mercedes-Benz “at a high rate of speed.” This led her to crash into the Kia Sorento, which had stopped at the stoplight. In turn, this car hit the car in its front.

However, things did not stop here. Looking at the past accidents the WWE Hall Of Famer had caused, the judge withdrew her bail. Labelled as “a danger to society,” her bail was revoked. As a result, she was again put behind bars. As of her current status, she is still in prison. Sentenced for 25.5 years, she has recently pleaded for no charges and the judgement is awaited by all.
Sunny and her controversial professional career
Tamara Lynn was one of the first women to leave a deep impact on the entire professional wrestling industry. Her tenure in the industry began in the late 1990s. At that time, women merely served as valets and Sunny was no different. She appeared alongside her high school sweetheart, Chris Candido, for most of her career.
Working for WWE, ECW and WCW, Sunny gained much fame after her love angle with Shawn Michaels. Not just this, she became popular among the fans for her bold photoshoots for magazines and websites. Before retiring from the professional wrestling industry in 2018, she also starred in the adult film Sunny Side Up: In Through the Backdoor.
The WWE Hall of Famer turned this fandom into a regular audience and turned herself into an OnlyF*ns star in 2020. With so much potential, many believe that her legal issues outside the ring stood as obstacles to the glorious career run she could have had in the ring.
