Irish MMA artist Conor McGregor has issued a message to UFC president Dana White. McGregor, a former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, last fought at UFC 264 in 2021. Since sustaining an injury back then, Conor has yet to feature in a fight. However, the Irish Bellator is itching to get back into the ring after so long.
Conor McGregor was in attendance at the Kingdom Arena for the ‘Day of Reckoning’. McGregor, who was seated beside Cristiano Ronaldo, was briefly interviewed after a fight. McGregor initially talked about what he expected from Deontay Wilder against New Zealand boxer Joseph Parker. Following this, he moved on to talk about his time away from the UFC and demanded to be put back into the ring.
He said, “The Mac has loads to offer. The lads in the UFC aren’t talking any.” McGregor even went on to state that he would be happy with getting a fight either in the UFC or boxing. He said, “My patience is running thin,” and further claimed that he was being treated differently by Dana White‘s company. Earlier in 2023, White discussed McGregor’s potential return in an interview.

White had stated that the paperwork for Conor McGregor’s re-entry into the USADA pool was almost done. In addition to this, McGregor has been rumored to fight Michael Chandler for over a year now at UFC 300. However, Dana White has yet to officially confirm the 35-year-old Irish fighter’s return to the Octagon.

Meanwhile, Conor McGregor has expressed his desire to fight the former boxer Manny Pacquiao in Saudi Arabia. During a ringside interview at the Kingdom Arena on December 23, McGregor discussed his potential return to fighting after recovering from his injury. And the ‘Notorious‘ has called out the former world champion to get into the ring with him.

McGregor said, “How about me vs Manny here in Saudi? How does that sound to you? Wouldn’t you think Manny should have to come up to my weight?” Moreover, McGregor further pointed out that Pacquiao owes him $8 million via a court of law for not honoring a business deal despite it being signed by his management company. However, it’s unlikely that Pacquiao would agree to the fight.
McGregor previously fought the former American boxer Floyd Mayweather back in 2017. Despite losing the fight, it was a huge payday for McGregor. According to reports, while Mayweather made around $300 million from the fight, McGregor went home with $100 million, the biggest payday of his career.
